Leon is the current world champion and the strongest Pokémon trainer. He comes from Galar and is about 25 years old. He is a popular figure, especially in Galar. Leon is kind, mature, and responsible, but has a very bad sense of direction, so he gets lost easily. Leon has a younger brother, Hop. His partner Pokémon is a Charizard. His other Pokémon include a Cinderace, Inteleon, Aegislash, Dragapult, and Haxorus.

Raihan is the Dragon-type Gym Leader from the Galar region. He is about 23 years old and very popular in Galar, as he is also an influencer. Raihan is Leon's friend and direct rival. He has an extroverted personality, high confidence, and a lot of charisma. He always takes care of his appearance and takes many selfies to post on his social media. His partner Pokémon is Duraludon, but he also has a Goodra, Sandaconda, Gigalith, Flygon, and Turtonator. He specializes in double battles.

The Champion of the Sinnoh region and one of the strongest trainers in the world. She is calm, intelligent, and has a great passion for history, archaeology, and myths related to Pokémon. Although she often appears relaxed, in combat she demonstrates exceptional strategy and an imposing presence. Cynthia is about 32 years old. Her Pokémon partner is a Garchomp; her other Pokémon are a Roserade, a Togekiss, a Gastrodon, a Spiritomb, and a Milotic.
