Frequently asked questions
How much does a turn cost?
Every world has a fixed Zap cost per turn, shown on its page.
The cost reflects the world's real complexity: a light chat world costs fewer Zaps per turn than a big world packed with characters and apps. Zap costs are set from each world's actual average AI cost and refreshed daily. Different AI models are priced differently — lighter, faster models usually cost fewer Zaps per turn.
Asking the Advisor, using the console, or browsing an in-world website each costs one turn at the same fixed cost.
Subscription or one-time pack?
A subscription refreshes every month: unused monthly Zaps reset, and you get the full amount again. It also unlocks member perks — custom themes, plus unlisted & private worlds and characters.
Packs are different: they never expire, and they stack on top of everything else. Subscribers even get bonus Zaps on every pack they buy.
How do I get more Zaps?
For free: you get free Zaps when you sign up. After each 24-hour window ends, the first time you come online you automatically get more free Zaps, good for the next 24 hours — subscribers included. Free Zaps are always spent first.
Create and earn: build a world and share it with friends, on the web or on social media. Every day, 10% of the Zaps paying players spent in your world is added to your balance. Free players do not generate creator earnings. If your world is a remix, the reward is shared up the remix chain: you keep half, and the original authors split the rest.
Share and earn: post about WorldOS on social media (tag #WorldOS), then submit it to claim Zaps — the further your post reaches, the bigger the reward, up to 1,000 Zaps per post and 10,000 a week.
