WorldOS Privacy Policy
Last updated August 27, 2026
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to team@worldos.cc.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: email address, username, profile name, avatar, authentication credentials, and account preferences.
- User content: worlds, characters, simulations, prompts, messages, comments, uploaded media, and other material you create, submit, publish, or store through the Services.
- Transactions and support: purchase and subscription records, virtual-credit balances, and messages or information you provide when contacting us. Complete payment-card details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
Information from third parties
If you sign in with Google or another identity provider, we receive information that provider makes available with your permission, such as your email address, account identifier, name, and optional profile image. The provider's own privacy policy governs its processing.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, browser type, language, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages or features used, timestamps, crash data, and diagnostic logs.
- Identifiers and advertising data: cookie identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, installation or attribution data, ad impressions, clicks, and engagement events, where permitted by law and your device settings.
- Safety data: signals and records needed to detect abuse, fraud, security threats, prohibited content, and violations of our Terms of Service.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and operate your account and provide the Services;
- process prompts and content, run AI-powered simulations, and save your creations and progress;
- process purchases, subscriptions, virtual credits, and rewards;
- personalize and localize the Services;
- respond to support requests and send service-related communications;
- measure performance, analyze usage, attribute installations, and improve our products;
- deliver and measure advertising, subject to consent and device controls where required;
- moderate content, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our terms, and protect users and the Services; and
- comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Our legal bases may include performance of our contract with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing the Services.
3. AI Processing
WorldOS uses third-party AI providers to generate and process text, images, and other content. Prompts, relevant simulation context, and submitted content may be sent to those providers to fulfill your request, perform safety checks, and maintain service quality. Do not submit confidential information or personal information about others unless you have the right to do so.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information in these circumstances:
- Public and social features: profile information and content you choose to publish may be visible to other users and the public.
- Service providers: trusted vendors that provide hosting and storage (such as Vercel and Supabase), AI models, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, customer support, communications, attribution, advertising, and payment processing.
- Legal and safety reasons: courts, law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate misconduct, enforce our agreements, or protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers: participants in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction or consent: when you connect a third-party service, share content, or otherwise instruct us to disclose information.
Some privacy laws treat disclosure of identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising as "sharing" or "targeted advertising." Where applicable, you may opt out through device advertising settings, consent controls presented in the Services, or by contacting us.
5. Cookies, Advertising, and Analytics
We and our partners may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, attribution, and advertising. You can control many of these technologies through browser or device settings. Disabling essential storage may prevent parts of the Services from working. We honor legally required opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where applicable.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for the purposes described above. Retention periods depend on the type of information, account status, safety and fraud-prevention needs, and legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Public content or content shared by others may remain available outside our control.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and should notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of targeted advertising or certain disclosures. You may update available account information and request account deletion from the account settings in the Services. You may also send a request to team@worldos.cc. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing emails using the link in the message. Service and security communications are not optional while your account remains active. Residents of the EEA, UK, and certain other jurisdictions may also complain to their local data protection authority.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact team@worldos.cc so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
10. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and use providers in multiple countries. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, when required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date is subject to the revised policy.
