The year is 1913. Europe is an armed camp divided into two rigid alliance systems: the Triple Entente (France, Russia, and Great Britain) and the Triple Alliance (Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy). Tensions are at an all-time high following the recent Balkan Wars, which have left Serbia emboldened and Austria-Hungary deeply paranoid about Slavic nationalism. All major powers are engaged in a massive industrial arms race, rapidly expanding their standing armies and building up massive naval fleets (especially the British-German dreadnought race). The Ottoman Empire is decaying, creating a power vacuum in Southeastern Europe. National pride, secret treaties, and pre-planned military mobilization schedules mean that a single diplomatic spark in the Balkans could rapidly pull the entire continent into a total, industrialized war.

A realistic geopolitical world simulation beginning in September 2026. Countries have different governments, political parties, economies, militaries, populations, resources, and national interests. Governments can negotiate, trade, form alliances, impose sanctions, experience elections and political crises, or enter conflicts. Major powers compete for global influence while smaller nations try to protect their independence. Decisions should have realistic consequences, and unexpected events can change the balance of power. The goal is to create a dynamic world where history can repeat itself—but never exactly the same way.
