What is Social Media Simulator?

Socials is a social network that is not any real one. Give it a name and a line about who you are, and you get a feed already full of posts from people who live in the world, a profile of your own, and comment threads that were arguing before you arrived. Post something and the feed answers: likes, comments, replies to replies, and new posts from the regulars between your turns.

Because it wears no brand, it fits anywhere a real platform would not. A fantasy kingdom can have a feed. A story can name the network whatever it wants. A classroom can run a social media exercise without logging anyone into anything. The feed behaves like the real thing, likes and pile-ons included, but the platform, the people and the posts are all made up.

People use it to test how a message lands before posting it for real, to give a fictional world its own social network, to teach what a feed does to a conversation, or to play out a public life that could not exist. Nothing connects to any real service: no login, no scraping, no posting. Screenshots are fine.
