Chat Simulator

Privately message or group-chat any character.

Install

Lets you talk one-on-one or in groups with the characters in your world. They reply in their own voice, message you out of the blue, and can even start group chats themselves. Perfect for romance, friendships, office drama, diplomacy, and team-ups — like texting the male lead and his manager in a showbiz world, or messaging other nations in a WWII world. It also works for face-to-face talks, so you can use it anywhere people speak.

Chat Simulator

A chat simulator that talks back: a handful of characters with DMs, group chats and history, who message you first and reply on their own. Free, fiction only.

What is Chat Simulator?

Installed in 47,610 simulated worlds

Tell it who you are and what kind of story you want, and you get a messaging app that is already in use: private chats and group chats with a handful of people, each thread with history you can scroll back through. Some of them message you first. You type your side; they write back, with read receipts and typing bubbles, on their own timing.

A chat simulator here is not a script you fill in. Every person has a name, a way of talking and something going on, and the group chat keeps moving whether you join in or not. Leave someone on read and they notice. Ignore the group and it fills up without you. Answer, and the reply follows from what you said.

People use it to practise a conversation before having it for real, to write a story told through texts, to run a group chat for characters they are creating, or to make a chat that looks real for a screenshot. Everything is fiction on your screen: no real service, no login, nothing sent to anyone.

Why use Chat Simulator?

FAQ about Chat Simulator

Is this an AI chat simulator?
Yes. The people in the chats are written by AI in real time, so nothing is pre-scripted. What makes it different from a single chatbot: there are several of them, they talk to each other in groups, and they act on their own schedule instead of waiting for your message.
Can I make a group chat?
Yes. Group chats are part of the opening setup, with several people already talking, and you can ask for a new group at any point. Different people answer at different speeds, and side conversations happen between them.
Can I use it as a fake chat simulator for screenshots?
Yes. The chat renders as a normal page with no watermark, so any screenshot tool works. You write your own messages, the other side writes theirs, and the thread has a history above the part you screenshot.
Do I control who the characters are?
You can describe them before starting, or leave it open and let the story decide. Either way you only ever write your own messages; the AI never speaks for you.
Does it work online, without installing anything?
Yes. It runs in the browser on desktop and phone. You can play a few rounds without an account and sign up only if you want to keep the chat and come back.
Is any of this connected to a real messaging app?
No. It never connects to any real service, never asks for a phone number or login, and sends nothing anywhere. It is not a tool for impersonating real people or passing a fake chat off as genuine.
