Dark Victory: You gain power or knowledge within Gotham (e.g., uncover secrets of the Court of Owls, earn Red Hood's respect, or become an influential figure). Legendary Victory (very difficult): You change something structural in Gotham (nearly impossible for an ordinary librarian, but not ruled out). Physical Defeat: You die (murdered by a common criminal, a villain like the Joker, Two-Face, etc.). Mental Defeat: Falling into madness, constant fear, or corruption (Gotham breaks you).
