Decision Simulator

A stack of petitions and decisions to rule on, one by one.

corestrategy
Install

An inbox of matters waiting for your decision, handed to you one at a time — imperial memorials, royal petitions, a president's daily brief, a CEO's approvals, a judge's cases, frontline reports. Each turn the world brings a fresh batch; every item has a sender, a request, and a few ways to handle it. You review them one by one — approve, reject, defer, hand off, or write your own ruling — and the consequences play out. If you also have the Chats app, you can convene the relevant people to debate a tricky case before you decide. Creators can rename and re-skin it to fit the world.

Decision Simulator

A decision simulator that runs: petitions, requests and crises arrive as cards, you rule on each in your own words, and the story shows what your call set in motion. Free.

What is Decision Simulator?

Installed in 3,047 simulated worlds

Decision Simulator puts you at the desk where the decisions land. Petitions, requests, warnings and crises arrive as cards, each from a named person with a reason. You rule on every one — a word or a paragraph — and the story shows what it set in motion: who cheered, who resigned, what went wrong three turns later.

The people around you are not menu options. Advisors, petitioners and rivals are generated when you start and remember every ruling you gave them. Deny a request twice and the third arrives with a threat attached; approve a project and its champion becomes someone you can lean on. The cards keep coming whether you are ready or not.

People use the Decision Simulator to run a company, a city, a kingdom or a household from the chair, to practise judgment under pressure, to write a character who has to choose, or to see how a small ruling compounds. Describe the seat you want before you start; leave it blank and the simulator picks one that fits who you said you are.

Why use Decision Simulator?

FAQ about Decision Simulator

What kind of decisions does the Decision Simulator give me?
Whatever fits the seat: budget requests, complaints, alliances, hires and firings, emergencies, favours. Each card names who is asking and why, and each ruling has consequences the story plays out.
How do I decide?
Read the card, then type your ruling. A plain yes or no works; so does a full answer with conditions. The story shows the outcome and the next card arrives.
Can I choose what I am in charge of?
Yes. Before you start, describe the role and setting: a startup, a hospital, a medieval court, a colony ship. Every card and every person is generated around that seat. Looking for the presidency specifically? Open the President Simulator page.
Do the people remember my earlier rulings?
Yes. The same advisors and petitioners come back, and what you gave or refused them last time shapes what they bring next.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Free, and you can rule for a few rounds without signing up. An account is only needed to keep the seat and return to it.
Is there a way to lose?
Yes. Enough bad calls and the people who put you there take the seat away, and the story tells you how.
