A black-screen terminal where you type commands and the system answers back. Built for cyberpunk break-ins, AI rebellions, spy hacks, and any world where you've got a keyboard and bad intentions. Poke at a corporation's servers, crack a locked door, or unleash something you shouldn't.

Hacker Simulator

A hacker simulator that talks back: type commands into a terminal and an AI answers with targets, systems and people watching you. Fiction, nothing real.

What is Hacker Simulator?

Installed in 2,012 simulated worlds

Type a command and the terminal answers. Scan a network, crack a password, pull a file, and the output comes back line by line the way it would on a real screen, except every server, login and log entry is invented for you. Around the terminal sits a story: who hired you, what you are after, who is watching the traffic.

Most hacker simulators are a typing toy: any key prints scrolling green code, and nothing you type means anything. Here the commands mean something. The AI sets up targets before you arrive, remembers what you already broke into, and moves the people on the other side: a sysadmin notices the login attempts, a client changes the deal, a trace closes in.

People use it to look like a hacker on screen for a video or a prank, to play a hacker in a story without learning any real tooling, to test how a heist scene would actually play out, or just to feel the movie version of hacking. It is fiction: nothing connects to any real network, no real system is scanned, and nothing you type leaves the page.

Why use Hacker Simulator?

FAQ about Hacker Simulator

Is this a fake hacker simulator I can use for a prank?
Yes. The terminal fills with scans, logins and file dumps that look the part, and it renders as a normal page, so screenshot or record it. Unlike a typing toy, it answers what you actually typed.
Does it hack anything real?
No. Every target, password and system is generated by the simulation. It never touches a real network, never asks for your credentials, and cannot be pointed at a real address.
Do I need to know real commands?
No. Type what you mean in plain words or in command form; the terminal understands both and answers in the style of a terminal. If you do know real tools, using their names works too.
What happens besides the terminal?
A story runs next to it. There is a job, a client, people on the other end of the systems you enter, and they react: someone notices you, someone offers a bigger job, someone sells you out.
Can I play it online without installing anything?
Yes. It runs in the browser, free, and you can play a few rounds without an account. Sign up only if you want to keep the run and come back.
Can I decide who I am and what the job is?
Yes. Before you start, give a name, who you are, and what story you want (a heist, a whistleblower, a corporate job) and the AI builds the targets around that.
