Family Tree Simulator

A family tree that grows with births, marriages, and deaths.

corestrategyhistory
Install

A living family tree. The head of the family (or the ruler) sits at the top, with the full lineage branching below — parents and children, married couples, living relatives, and honored ancestors. It grows as you play: a birth adds a new child, a marriage joins two people, and a death turns someone into a remembered ancestor (no one is ever erased). Every member shows the basics — born, died, role, parents, spouse — and creators can add titles, traits, bloodlines, even a crown-and-succession layer for who inherits. Perfect for family sagas, noble houses, or sweeping dynasty epics across generations.

Family Tree Simulator

A family tree simulator that runs forward: start from one character and watch marriages, births, deaths and feuds add branches turn by turn. Free to play.

What is Family Tree Simulator?

Installed in 5,146 simulated worlds

This is not a tool for looking up your ancestors. It starts from one person, yours, and grows a family forward: who they marry, the children they have, who dies, who is disowned. The tree draws itself live as each of those happens.

The relatives are generated, and they have plans that are not yours. A sibling wants the inheritance. A daughter refuses the match you arranged. An uncle nobody invited turns up with a claim. You type what your character does each turn; the family answers through the tree and the story feed, and a marriage or a funeral shows up as a new line on the chart.

People use it to run a dynasty across generations and see who ends up holding the name, to build the family backstory for a character or a novel, to play a family saga where every branch has a grudge, or to make a family tree they can screenshot for a story. Nothing is real: no records, no genealogy databases, no real people.

Why use Family Tree Simulator?

FAQ about Family Tree Simulator

Is this a genealogy tool for my real family?
No. It builds a fictional family forward from a character you play, not backward from real records. Nothing connects to any genealogy service.
How does the tree grow?
Through play. Marriages, births and deaths happen as the story runs, and each one adds or closes a branch on the chart. You can steer them: arrange a marriage, have an heir, cut someone off.
Do the relatives do anything on their own?
Yes. Each generated relative has their own agenda: an inheritance to claim, a marriage to refuse, a feud to keep going. They act whether or not you address them.
Can I play across several generations?
Yes. When your character dies, the story can continue with an heir, and the tree keeps the earlier generations above them. That is how a dynasty forms.
Can I set up the starting family myself?
Yes. Before you start, describe who you are and the family situation you want (a small house on the rise, a large clan splitting up), and the opening tree builds from that. Leave it blank and you get a family generated for you.
Is it free? Can I screenshot the tree?
Free, with a few rounds before you need an account. The tree is a normal on-screen chart with no watermark, so any screenshot works.
