One map, two layers. The WORLD layer is the realm: place pins, drawn regions, and your party crossing it as the story moves them. Step into a place and the SCENE layer opens its own board — hand-drawn art under a square grid, tokens for the party and for whatever is already standing there, movement ranges and distances measured properly (diagonals count as one, D&D-style). The two can never fall out of sync: where the party is IS the scene you fight in. Any genre fits — a fantasy dungeon, a boarding action, a raid on a compound — and it pairs with Dice and Equipment for a full tabletop setup.
