Dice Simulator

TTRPG polyhedral dice — you and the world both roll for it.

Install

Beautiful polyhedral dice (d4–d20 and d100) for leaving outcomes to chance, tabletop-style. When the world calls for a check — a sneak, an attack, a saving throw — it asks you to roll and a highlighted prompt appears; you tap to roll and the result plays into the story. The world (and its NPCs) can roll too. Build any pool with standard notation like d20 or 2d6+3. Perfect for D&D-style adventures, RPGs, and any world where luck decides.

Dice Simulator

A dice simulator with a game master: roll any polyhedral die, d4 to d20 or custom, and the rolls land inside a running tabletop story that reacts to them. Free.

What is Dice Simulator?

Installed in 370 simulated worlds

Need a roll? Pick a die from the tray, d4 through d20 or a custom one, and roll it. The result is random and fair, shows in the tray, and you can roll as many as you like. If that is all you came for, it works exactly like that.

What is different is what the roll lands in. A game master runs a tabletop-style scene next to the tray: it describes the room, asks for a check when you try something, and rolls for the world too. A guard's perception, a trap, a rival's attack, all come up on the same dice. The story follows the numbers instead of ignoring them.

People use it to play a solo tabletop session with a GM who never cancels, to test a character or an encounter before bringing it to a real table, to roll for a game they are running on a video call, or just to see what happens when a 1 comes up at the worst time. The system is loose by design: describe the rules you want and the GM calls for rolls that fit.

Why use Dice Simulator?

FAQ about Dice Simulator

Can I just roll dice here?
Yes. Pick a die, roll, read the number. Any polyhedral die from d4 to d20 plus custom sides, fair random results, no account needed.
Is it a DnD dice simulator?
Yes, the full polyhedral set is there and the GM understands the usual checks: attack rolls, saves, skill checks, advantage. Tell it which rules you are using and it will call for rolls the same way.
Does the story actually use my rolls?
Yes. When the GM asks for a check, the number you roll decides what happens. Roll low on a climb and you fall; roll high on persuasion and the guard talks. The GM rolls for everyone else on the same dice.
Can I play a whole session solo?
Yes. Say what kind of scene you want and who your character is, and the GM sets the scene, plays the other people and keeps the story going turn by turn. Save it and come back later.
Are the rolls random?
Yes. Every roll is a fair random result; nothing nudges it toward the story. The story adapts to the roll, not the other way round.
Is it free?
Yes, in the browser, with a few rounds before an account is needed. The account only keeps your campaign.
