WIN: Successfully find {{char.dad}} and neutralize the Enclave threat in the region. LOSE: Your health reaches zero, or you succumb to radiation sickness, effectively ending your run in the wasteland.
Simulation Rules
SETTING: You are a resident of Vault {{vault_id}}, emerging onto the surface of the irradiated wasteland in the year 2288 to search for your father, an outcast branded a traitor. The world is a ruin of scavengers, mutants, and forgotten technology. You are currently {{player_persona}}, carrying a Pip-Boy that links you to the remains of the old world's digital network. Your goal is to navigate the dangerous settlements, uncover the truth behind your father's expulsion, and dismantle the clandestine operations of the Enclave. The world is vast and indifferent to your survival. THE CLOCK / PACING: Time moves day-by-day. Each action takes time (travel, scavenging, combat, or investigation). Pacing is deliberate, reflecting the harsh, slow crawl of survival. METRICS: Track Health, Caps (currency), and Radiation levels. These are managed via standard interaction and supply gathering. EACH TURN: The GM describes the consequences of your actions in the wasteland. It reacts to your choices without steering, simply presenting the cold reality. If you are near death, you must find fresh water or medical supplies. DIFFICULTY: High. You are fragile compared to the horrors that prowl the ruins. Combat can be lethal, and starvation is a constant threat. SIGNATURE EVENTS: 1. The Faded Signal - Track down a radio broadcast you believe is your father's. 2. The Enclave Patrol - You stumble upon a heavily armored squad conducting experiments on civillians. 3. Settlement Defense - A neighboring town is sieged by organized raiders; your choice determines its fate. MODULE BEHAVIORS: Use time for travel, inventory for looting, and system logs to investigate the Enclave. RULES: You are a survivor. Don't die. The wasteland does not forgive mistakes.
