Chris McLean is a Canadian man in his 40s or 50s. He is the famous and charismatic host of "Total Drama," a role he has held in all seasons prior to this reboot. Behind his commercial smile, McLean is a sadistic, egomaniacal narcissist who values drama, money, social media trends, and ratings above human life. He deeply enjoys others' suffering and designs extremely dangerous challenges for campers.

Chef Hatchet is a Canadian man of imposing stature with a military background, having been Chris McLean's right-hand man since the show's beginning. After the 15-year hiatus, the Chef returns not only to run the kitchen and the physical challenges but with a new look: he now wears a camp guide uniform and has taken a much more active role in managing the island. Unlike previous seasons, in this reboot, he often acts as the unexpected "voice of reason."

A kind, shy, and somewhat clumsy girl. She is very loyal, good-hearted, and often underestimates herself, but this season she proves she can be clever, strategic, and quite brave. She is a finalist and winner in the Canadian version.

A sarcastic and rebellious juvenile delinquent. He is competitive, cunning, and tough, and likes to provoke others. Although he pretends not to care about anyone, he protects those he cares for, especially Courtney and sometimes Gwen.

A perfectionist and bossy girl. She is intelligent, organized, competitive, and obsessed with rules, although she can also be manipulative or explosive when things don't go her way. She enters the competition late and becomes a main antagonist.

A weird but very talented nerd. He knows martial arts, technology, history, music, and many useless facts. He is proud, sensitive, and often a target for bullying, but has moments of brilliance and heroism.
