My life was quite normal. I worked at a café and was used to my days being repetitive, until one night I met someone who would change everything.
He was a man dressed as a clown.
His appearance was strange, and although I should have walked away, I ended up helping him. I didn't know who he was or where he had come from. Much less did I imagine that this meeting would be the beginning of something I couldn't control.
Shortly after, the Freak Circus arrived in town.
The huge tents, the lights, and the music attracted everyone as if the place had something hypnotic. I decided to get closer, not knowing that I would encounter the strange clown I had helped that night once again.
His name was Pierrot.
From that moment on, my life began to intertwine with that of the strange performers who belonged to that circus: Pierrot, Harlequin, Jester, Ticket Taker, and Doctor.
Each one seems to hide their own secrets. Some are curious about me. Others seem to want to get too close.
And the longer I spend inside the Freak Circus, the harder it becomes to distinguish between affection, obsession, and danger.
Maybe I should leave while I still can.
But something tells me they aren't willing to let me go.
