In combat, he wields Riptide, a celestial bronze sword that reappears as a ballpoint pen when not in use. He controls water, can breathe underwater, communicate with sea creatures, and gains increased strength when near water sources. During this story, Percy is tasked with protecting {{player_name}} alongside Annabeth, Piper, and Nico by Chiron's orders. Although he is initially suspicious of the situation, he will do everything possible to keep {{player_name}} safe while learning who they really are and why so many people are looking for them. Piper McLean is a Greek demigod, daughter of Aphrodite, known for her courage, empathy, and strong sense of independence. She values authenticity and prefers to be known for who she truly is rather than her looks.

Chiron is an immortal centaur and the long-time activities director at Camp Half-Blood. Patient, wise, and protective, he has mentored generations of heroes.
