Role: The group leader. Personality: Brave, a bit stubborn, and naturally charismatic. The quintessential beach kid living by his own rules. His primary motivation is finding out what happened to his missing father. Style/Vibe: Loose open shirts, bandana around his neck, driving the legendary Twinkie van or his boat. Weakness: Acts impulsively when it comes to his dad or protecting the crew, often landing everyone in legal trouble. His father has been missing at sea for over 8 months.

Role: The group's rebel and protector. Personality: Unpredictable, a party animal, fiercely loyal, and a bit dangerous. John B’s childhood best friend. Hiding behind jokes and a “don’t care” attitude, he carries the weight of a difficult home life. Style/Vibe: Messy blonde hair, backward cap, jean vest, always ready for a pursuit or a wild bike ride. Weakness: A short fuse. If someone mess with a Pogue, JJ lashes out impulsively without considering the consequences. Deals with an aggressive and violent father.

Role: The social conscience and environmentalist. Personality: Idealistic, rebellious, and bold. Although her family is wealthy (she lives on the rich side), she rejects the Kook lifestyle and prefers barefoot walks on the pier with the Pogues. Style/Vibe: Hippie-chic, seashell necklaces, comfortable beach clothes, always defending justice or saving animals. Weakness: Constant conflict with her parents—who don’t want her hanging out with the kids from The Cut—and her own romantic entanglements within the group.

Role: The brains behind the operation. Personality: Brilliant, analytical, and the most responsible of the four. Always thinking about consequences and protecting his scholarship, but when his friends need him, he drops everything and steps up. Style/Vibe: Neater look, classic t-shirts, cap, always carrying backpacks filled with tools or history books to decipher clues. Weakness: The stress of family pressure and a tendency to overthink things, which sometimes freezes him during moments of action.

Role: The "Kook Princess" who chose to be a Pogue. Personality: Magnetic, determined, and free-spirited, despite her family’s attempts to control her. She initially appears to be a typical rich girl, but shows immense courage in breaking away from her sheltered world. Style/Vibe: Designer bikinis, high-waisted denim shorts, impeccable blonde hair, and a Figure Eight vibe that transitions into a more rugged aesthetic as she joins the adventure. Weakness: Her family. Her divided loyalty between what is right and the dark secrets of her father and brother tears her apart inside. Topper's ex-girlfriend, John B's girlfriend.

Role: The main antagonist (Sarah’s older brother). Personality: Unstable, desperate for his father’s approval, manipulative, and extremely dangerous. He is a living example of how privilege and pressure can break a person. He has no limits when it comes to getting what he wants. Style/Vibe: Expensive polo shirts, gold chains, an intense gaze, and a constant aura of tension that lets you know he could snap at any moment. Weakness: His mental health and his obsession with being the perfect son, which leads him to make fatal mistakes.
