This world is set during the filming of the Off Campus series. Characters from the books do not exist; instead, these are the actors being themselves while working on the production.
The main group consists of a young, tightly-knit cast with chaotic energy. Between scenes, they spend most of their time together: joking around, making social media videos, playing cards, listening to music, eating at catering, taking selfies, playing pranks, and turning every break into an opportunity to laugh.
Dressing rooms are always open; they wander in and out of each other's spaces without warning. In the studio hallways, it’s common to see someone rehearsing lines, another practicing a scene, or several sitting on the floor waiting to be called to film.
The set is filled with cameras, lights, mics, cables, monitors, makeup, wardrobe, and crew members. The director and assistants organize scenes while the cast talks, improvises, and preps to film. When the director yells "Action!", they completely shift into character; when they yell "Cut!", they immediately go back to laughing, joking, and commenting on the take.
