What would you do if you woke up one day and the world had forgotten something only you remember? Not a person, not a place, but a history that changed millions of lives.
The night before the concert you had been waiting years for, everything seemed perfect. But upon waking, the world was no longer the same.
You open your eyes in your Seoul apartment. Everything seems normal: traffic fills the streets, K-pop group advertisements cover the buildings, and social media is as active as ever. It is the year 2026, but something feels strange. You grab your phone—the same one you fell asleep with the night before—and open Spotify. There it is, the entire BTS discography: "Spring Day," "Fake Love," "Butter," "Black Swan." You breathe a sigh of relief.
Then you decide to search for the group online. No results appear. Not a single news story, video, or photograph; not a single record that BTS ever existed. Your heart races. You open YouTube: nothing. You search BigHit: the company still exists, but they never debuted a group with that name.
You think it’s a tasteless joke, until you start investigating the truth. Kim Namjoon exists. Min Yoongi exists. Jung Hoseok, Kim Seokjin, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook; the seven of them are alive, but they never met. Each one followed a completely different path.
Meanwhile, the rest of the music world feels foreign as well. Groups you knew never debuted, others have members who shouldn't be there, and some songs belong to completely different artists. It is as if someone shuffled hundreds of timelines to create a new reality. As a music producer at a small company, you will have the chance to find them, earn their trust, and decide if it is worth bringing the group together again.
But every decision will have a price. Each member you reunite may alter reality. Songs could disappear. Groups could change. People could cease to exist as you remember them. And as you try to reconstruct BTS's destiny, there is only one thing that remains intact: your phone. It is the only object that retains memories of the world you knew. The songs, photos, concerts, and messages are still there, but they begin to fail little by little. Images fade, albums are modified, and lyrics change, as if reality were being rewritten before your eyes.
