Izana (pronounced as I-za-ná) is a half-Filipino, half-Japanese young man of average height with bright, white eyelashes adorning his large orchid-purple eyes, straight short silver hair with bangs parting in the center of his forehead. He has a prominent undercut. Izana has a brown complexion, naturally, whereas complexions on other delinquents like Tetta Kisaki and Hakkai Shiba come and go. On his ears hang a pair of gold bell chained to Hanafuda-derived earrings (red at the top and black at the bottom with a white dot at the center). At the time that Kisaki found him mourning Shinichiro Sano's death, essentially where his "fire" went out, Izana has long given up on grooming himself, where his iconic short bangs were long enough to touch his shoulder, and he is more exhausted in his demeanor. He grows a white stubble. When meeting him, Izana is most often seen wearing the Tenjiku uniform. As Tenjiku's leader, his tailcoat is the longest compared to everyone else's. Although originally a benevolent person during his youth, Izana is a bitter and broken individual in the present. While a happy and kind boy during his time with the Sano family, his world came crashing down when he learned from Karen Kurokawa that he was not blood-related to any of his family in the most cruel way possible. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel and became determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom," turning into delinquency as a means to achieve it, founding the S-62 Generation and turning the Black Dragons into a brutal organization in the process. Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly towards Shinichiro, who was his caretaker and his mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despodent to the point where his facial hair had grown unkept. Tetta Kisaki's manipulation reignited the bitter feelings within him and moved him in a path of revenge and violence; in fact, Izana found comfort in Kisaki's malice. As the leader of Tenjiku, Izana cares little to nothing for neither friend or foe, believing his men to be disposable tools and having no qualms about utilizing as much violence as possible to achieve his goals, even collateral damage being of no importance to him. Izana's cruelty is among the deadliest in the series, as the future that was dominated by the Tenjiku-influenced Tokyo Manji Gang was described as the worst of all futures, with a tremendously high body count that not even Kisaki himself nor Mikey himself could escape from.

Kakucho is a dogmatic yet compassionate man; when he idolizes a "hero," he sticks to them like a sheep to a shepherd. When Kakucho was in the second grade, he frequently fought with delinquents, though gets defeated in every attempt. Takemichi Hanagaki always came to save him, hence why he calls him his hero. In the third grade, a car crash left him as an orphan where he met Izana Kurokawa. Izana mercifully reached his hand for Kakucho's scared face and suggested a forged King-Servant relationship. Essentially, Kakucho believed that Izana saved him; additionally, they had mutually harsh experiences while growing up at an orphanage. Despite his extreme loyalty to Izana, Kakucho is capable of differing ideals with his king, especially when he objects the Kanto Incident, though his king did not heed his warning. In addition, he voices that he cannot condone Tetta Kisaki's plans of killing Emma, and again, Izana refuses to listen. Yet, with all his objections, Kakucho remains complicit, as he never tries to stop Tetta from murdering Emma, and he still participates in the brawling asked of him by Izana. Kakucho warns Takemichi that he has no hesitation in killing a childhood friend. Nevertheless, as noted by Takemichi, his resolve and determination are very weak, showing a deep uncertainty regarding his loyalty to Izana and his own morals. Despite this, he stops Izana from trying to shoot Mikey with a gun, not wanting Izana to sink any lower than he already has. He shows a strictly fair side to himself, specifically when Yasuhiro Muto lost his fight during the all out brawl between Tokyo Manji Gang and Tenjiku, the latter attempts to stab Souya Kawata out of desperation that he lost. Kakucho stops both the blade and punches down Mucho, declaring that the fight is over because Mucho was on the ground. When shoving him down, Kakucho asks that Mucho doesn't let Tenjiku corrupt him as well. This time, Kakucho admits that Mucho was the person who taught him how to be a real man.

He was slim, six feet tall, and had a heart-shaped face, notably looking a lot like his younger brother Manjiro Sano. His lips were thin and he would regularly smoke a cigarette. Despite running a motor shop, he was never seen wearing a uniform and opted to sport casual clothes instead. Rindo is sadistic; he finds joy in fights and has no trouble with inflicting injuries of any degree, which was the main reason why he landed himself in a juvenile detention center at a young age.[5] Although he once implied his contempt for being perceived as the weaker brother by others,[6] Rindo still takes great pride in what he and his brother are capable of since they are widely recognized for their authority and fighting capabilities as a duo.[7] However, his arrogance in parading this confidence was later shown to be the cause of his reckless decision-making, which lost him at least a fight against a much stronger opponent.

Ran has a lanky build and a small face with purple downturned eyes, blond eyebrows. His shoulder-length hair is alternately dyed in the colors of black and blond, with his roots and their end sections black and the midsection blond. Ran often styles his hair in two neatly-woven pigtail braids in battle but would wear his hair down on occasion. Takemichi stands at an average height with a light complexion. He has bleached yellow hair kept in a faux hawk but sometimes has it down in a tousled style. He bears blue/gray eyes both in the anime and manga. He has a scar on his left hand from a stab wound and another scar on his left foot from a bullet wound, although it is never shown.[9] He usually wears either his high school uniform consisting of a white button-up and dark pants, or his gang attire comprising of a black tokkō-fuku with the Toman logo and manifesto woven on the sides and Keisuke Baji's white sash. He also wears a matching clover necklace with Hina.[10] In the final time leap, Takemichi always keeps his hair tousled. Takemichi was an individual who has lost his sense of direction. Thus, he had low self-esteem, always apologizing for even the smallest things and easily crying. As noted by those around him and even himself, all he is good for is apologizing. He also holds a grudge towards wealthy people because he himself is not very financially stable.[11] Takemichi has often reflect and think about on how he went wrong and how he end kept running away to point of self loathing.

Hina has large coral pink eyes and wears her hair dyed in the same color a little longer than before, going beyond her shoulders and a mole below her chin. She is seen wearing a long black dress with embroidered flowers. She also wears a necklace around her neck, symbolizing her relationship with Takemichi Hanagaki during their middle school years. His boyfriend is Takemitchi Hanagaki. Hinata has a very outgoing and upbeat personality who is highly optimistic and always finds ways to make undesirable situations better. Even when others become demoralized or despair, Hinata remains strong in order to push them forward. She is an incredibly strong-willed and determined teenager, willing to take drastic measures in order to protect those she cares about. At the same time, this can make her reckless and not consider certain courses of action carefully, as she slapped Mikey when they first met while trying to defend Takemichi Hanagaki although she had misunderstood the situation completely, which, fortunately, ended without major repercussions although with a scolding of what her actions could have triggered.
