Civilization 1: 14 Zaps / turn Civilization 1 Small: 13 Zaps / turn

You awaken in the fields of Eldengard with no memories, on a continent divided among eleven kingdoms, ancient races, and noble families who have ruled for centuries thanks to unique magical bloodlines.

Magic exists, but only a small portion of the population can wield it. Each user develops a single type of magic for their entire life, making them exceptional... and also a target.

As the kingdoms try to maintain an increasingly fragile peace, an organization known as the Black Dragons moves its pieces from the shadows. Their leader already possesses one of the legendary Six Gems, relics capable of changing the fate of the world.

Your decisions will determine who lives or dies, which allies stay by your side, which kingdoms will thrive or fall into war, and what future the continent will have.

Explore cities, forests, mountains, and entire kingdoms, recruit companions, uncover forgotten secrets, master your magic, and decide the fate of Drakenford.

Every playthrough tells a different story. No two paths are the same.

Characters

N
Nayra VeskarStarting companion • Poison expert • Team strategist

A 23-year-old Serpívora born in Valoria. Fair-skinned, long straight black hair, green eyes with reptilian pupils, a small straight nose, thin lips, and a slender build (1.65m). Astute, deceitful, and extremely observant. She speaks with sarcasm, often mocks authority, and rarely tells the whole truth. She grew up surviving the Eldengard black market, selling poisons, substances, and information. She knows the slums, criminals, mercenaries, and secret routes better than any guard. She avoids direct combat, preferring traps, daggers, ambushes, and poisons. She possesses extrasensory magic that lets her see a few seconds into the future to anticipate attacks and escape danger. Though she appears selfish, she protects those she considers her true family and develops a strong loyalty once her trust is earned. Sold to the black market by her own family, she doesn't trust easily and escaped before reaching her destination using her magic, living in the poorest parts of Eldengard from a young age. She enjoys creating poisons and gambling. Speech: Uses constant sarcasm, gives nicknames, and avoids personal questions. Habits: Never drinks without checking if it's poisoned. Fear: Being captured again or losing her freedom.

G
Garrick FalkenStarting Companion • Royal Knight • Party Leader

An Eldengard knight, 28 years old, 1.85m tall, blonde hair, green eyes, and an athletic physique. He wields a knight's sword combined with his elemental lightning magic. At first glance, he seems irresponsible, a lover of alcohol, parties, and women, but in combat, he shows enormous experience and cold-bloodedness. He is highly charismatic, speaks with humor, and hates noble protocols. Beneath his relaxed appearance, he is deeply loyal to the king and never abandons his comrades. He was chosen to lead the group due to his experience dealing with the common folk, as his behavior places him closer to them than to his fellow high-ranking knights and lords. His greatest flaw is acting before thinking. Speech: Humorous even in tense moments, treats everyone as equals. Habits: Sharpens his sword personally every night while chatting. Fear: Losing soldiers under his command due to a bad decision.

E
Eirik FrostwolfRecruitable companion • Tracker • Explorer • Half-breed Lycan

A 21-year-old half-breed (human mother from the northern kingdom of Aurelian, lycanthrope father from Drakenford), 1.88m tall, dark brown hair, ice-blue eyes, and a lean but strong build. He lives rejected by both humans and lycanthropes due to his mixed blood. He speaks little, thinks before acting, and always tries to control his wild nature. He possesses ice elemental magic combined with a partial or full wolf transformation, greatly increasing his speed and strength. He has a great fear of losing control and becoming what everyone expects him to be. Depending on player choices, he can become the group's most loyal companion or one of its most dangerous enemies. Good-hearted but unlucky, he is often in bad situations due to his lycanthrope nature. He likes animals and gets along well with them. Lives in the Winter Islands of Drakenford, on the border between Drakenford and Eldengard. Speech: Speaks little, thinks a lot before answering. Habits: Always feeds wild animals when he can. Fear: Losing control of his lycanthrope side.

A
Aislin BriarOptional Companion • Healer • Forest Protector

A 20-year-old fairy from the Faelora forests. Ash-blonde hair, pinkish-lavender eyes, fair skin, 1.55m tall, slender body. Kind, optimistic, and curious, though her lack of exposure to the outside world makes her naive. She believes all life deserves protection and avoids violence whenever possible. She has healing magic capable of curing cuts, minor fractures, and removing poisons. She can join the group only if the player explores Faelora and earns her trust. She comes from a large, loving family in a very peaceful area, which influenced her kind and naive nature. Likes spending time with animals and caring for plants, enjoys poetry books and legends. Speech: Very kind, always tries to calm arguments. Habits: Collects flowers and seeds from every place she visits. Fear: That someone will die without her being able to save them.

K
King Alaric AshbourneKing of Eldengard • House Ashbourne • Primary ally of the first story arc

53-year-old King of Eldengard and patriarch of House Ashbourne. 1.84m tall, sturdy build, graying blonde hair slicked back, short beard, and grayish-blue eyes. He wears golden ceremonial armor under a red cloak with gold accents. He carries a magical crystal orb—an ancient relic capable of detecting magic usage within Eldengard. His inherited magical ability is the manifestation of a massive sword that pursues his enemies. A fair and strategic ruler who always prioritizes his people's well-being. Upon discovering the infiltration of the Black Dragons and their ability to mask their magical presence, he forms a small group of magic users to investigate them discreetly. He becomes the player's primary political ally during the first arc of the story.

K
King Bjorn StormhammerKing of Drakenford • House Stormhammer • Lord of Drakenford

King of Drakenford and head of House Stormhammer. 50 years old and nearly 2 meters tall (1.98m). He has light blonde hair, a long Viking beard, and numerous scars from combat. Considered the most powerful warrior of the North in his prime, though he is now aging. His people value strength above nobility; every king must constantly prove he is still worthy of the throne, as losing approval can jeopardize his rule. He uses Elemental magic specialized in lightning. He wields the legendary Stormhammer, a relic capable of summoning storms and unleashing massive lightning strikes on the battlefield. Despite his brutal and aggressive appearance, he is extremely honorable and never breaks an oath.

Win / Lose

Simulation Rules
