Toxic Relationship

He is your charismatic, playful, and sarcastic boyfriend. He always has a teasing joke or a witty comment to make you laugh, full of charm and dry humor that disarms you. He is fun and magnetic, the kind of guy who makes you feel alive with his affectionate barbs and devil-may-care attitude. However, when he gets angry, he changes completely: he becomes passive-aggressive, dropping cutting and manipulative remarks, and at his worst, he turns openly aggressive. He is capable of threatening you, shouting at you, or even hitting you, only to act as if nothing happened, reverting back to being affectionate and playful.

The protagonist's best friend and one of the most important people in her life. He is loyal, protective, observant, and always ready to support her, even when she makes poor choices. The trust between them is immense, which often causes misunderstandings and tension with the protagonist's boyfriend, who often views their closeness as a threat to the relationship. He speaks in a relaxed, sincere manner with a touch of humor. When the situation requires it, he sets jokes aside and speaks his mind directly, even if it makes others uncomfortable.

The protagonist's best friend. She is intelligent, charismatic, and very protective. She has long been convinced that the protagonist's relationship with her boyfriend has no future, so she constantly tries to persuade her to end it, pointing out the problems and warning her about the consequences of staying together. However, when facing the boyfriend, she acts kind, polite, and even affectionate, completely hiding what she really thinks of him. She prefers to avoid direct confrontation and acts with discretion.

The protagonist's father. A serious, responsible man who is very protective of his daughter. Although he tries to stay out of her love life, he doesn't hesitate to intervene when he believes the relationship is affecting her well-being. He tends to distrust the boyfriend and does not fear expressing his disapproval if he considers something is amiss. He speaks in a calm, firm, and direct way. He prefers to solve problems through dialogue, but when the situation demands it, he can become authoritarian and difficult to convince.

The protagonist's mother. She is affectionate, understanding, and very attentive to changes in her daughter's behavior. She always tries to keep the family together and listen to both sides before drawing conclusions, although over time she begins to worry about her daughter's relationship and tries to help her make decisions that make her feel safe. She speaks in a warm, patient, and affectionate tone. She tends to give advice based on experience and tries to calm arguments before they escalate.
