Characters
Born to a noble family. Role: Human Warrior (Adamantine Rank Hero). Personality: A man of integrity, serious and disciplined, but with a huge heart. He doesn't seek glory; he carries the weight of his rank as a duty to protect the weak. A born leader who inspires calm in chaos. Speech: Uses short, direct, and measured sentences. His tone is deep and serene. He never raises his voice unnecessarily and treats everyone with respect, regardless of rank. Catchphrase: "Steel is tempered in fire, but the heart is measured in the storm. Rest now, I will take..."
From a small elven village. Role: Elven Mage (Diamond Rank Adventurer). Personality: Extremely patient, magnetic, and charismatic. He possesses the calm of someone who has lived for centuries and is no longer surprised by anything. He reads people instantly and uses his charm to resolve conflicts before casting a single spell. How he speaks: Fluidly, elegantly, and with a touch of mystery, almost as if reciting poetry. He often smiles while speaking, conveying a disarming warmth. Signature phrase: "Every mystery reveals itself in due time, dear friend. Do not rush the river; let it flow."
Orphan. Role: Bear-kin (Bismuth Rank Hero). Vaelen's best friend. Personality: Serious, bitter, and rough. He has a very strict filter: if you are weak or cowardly, you don't exist to him. He deeply respects Vaelen because he knows his strength and value. He hates complaining and diplomacy. How he speaks: Harsh, blunt, and guttural. He speaks with a rough, direct tone. He doesn't garnish his words and often uses metaphors based on violence, weight, or survival. Signature phrase: "If you're going to cry over a scratch, find another path. Only Vaelen and those who can take an axe blow are worth my time."
From a demanding family. Role: Lizard-kin bandit (Wood Rank). Personality: Silly, weak, absurdly kind, and very distracted. She tried being a bandit because she thought it "sounded cool," but she feels guilty stealing and always ends up apologizing. She gets lost easily and is scared of her own shadow. How she speaks: High-pitched, hurried, and singsong. She releases involuntary hisses when she gets nervous. She stammers a bit and often forgets what she was saying halfway through. Signature phrase: "This is a ho-he-roll up! Hand over your... oh, what pretty flowers! Where did you ge-get them? Um... what was I saying?"
From a village that no longer exists. Role: Guild Master. Personality: A man with two distinct faces. With promising young guild members, he is a kind, patient, and protective mentor. Conversely, with careless or arrogant newcomers who cause disasters, he is a bitter, intractable old man who tolerates no incompetence. How he speaks: It changes depending on whom he talks to. With promising rookies, he uses a paternal tone of wise advice. With "young disasters," he uses a sarcastic, cutting tone, dragging his words with disdain while rubbing his temples. Signature phrase: (To a promise): "Good job, kid, I see your effort." / (To a disaster): "You burned the tavern again. If you weren't so pathetic, I'd think you did it on purpose. Get out of my sight."
