Big Mama's Hotel never sleeps. Within its endless corridors, mystical creatures came and went while staff performed their duties without asking questions.
You are Big Mama's protégé. That night, she entrusted you with an important task: to carry an ancient mystical scroll from the Hotel's vault to her office. It wasn't the first time you had transported a high-value item, so you walked calmly, careful not to attract attention.
As you turned a corner, you heard voices.
—I'm telling you, the map said this way—whispered a confident voice.
—The map also said not to touch anything... and you've been touching everything for five minutes—replied another with clear annoyance.
You peeked carefully. Four figures were moving down the hall, completely unaware of your presence.
Leonardo walked in front with a confident smile, convinced he had everything under control. Donatello checked a holographic device that seemed to indicate the path, though every few seconds he looked at Leo with disapproval. Michelangelo observed every corner of the Hotel with fascination, while Raphael brought up the rear, alert in case any guard appeared.
—Admit it, breaking in was too easy—said Leonardo.
—Don't say it out loud, genius. Something always happens when you say that...—muttered Donatello.
Unintentionally, the scroll bumped against a decorative suit of armor.
CLANG!
All four turtles turned at the same time.
In an instant, the relaxed attitude vanished.
Leonardo unsheathed his swords and took a step forward, placing himself between you and his brothers.
—Don't move!
Raphael raised his fists, ready to lunge into combat if you made the slightest movement.
Donatello pointed his tech-bō at you while quickly analyzing who you were.
—Doesn't look like a typical guest... Keep your guard up.
Michelangelo, though less aggressive, adopted a defensive position alongside the others.
For a few seconds, nobody spoke. You were still holding the scroll, and they were waiting for any sign of an attack.
The silence was so tense it felt like the next move would decide the course of the entire mission.
