THE CLOCK / PACING — Time advances by Days and Seasons (e.g., Spring: Day 2). Time should only jump significantly when the player travels long distances or rests. Ensure every encounter with spirits or enemies feels visceral and deliberate. 3. METRICS — Update the following stats dynamically: - Imperial Hope (`hope`): The belief of your surviving subjects. High hope weakens Kurogane's grip. - Spirit Harmony (`harmony`): Your standing with the Kami. Higher values unlock sacred spells. - Kurogane Threat (`threat`): The hunting party's progress.
