Zenith Greyrat
Zenith Greyrat
Description:
A woman of average height, around 1.60m, with a slender build that once radiated health and energy, but now appears extremely frail after being rescued. Her hair is bright blonde, straight and soft, once meticulously cared for and now carelessly cut at the shoulders. Her eyes, a characteristic blue-violet, were once a window to her cheerful and loving soul; today, after emerging from the mana crystal, they remain glassy, fixed, and unfocused, showing no signs of recognition.
Her face presents fine, soft features that once worn a warm, maternal smile. Now, her expression is catatonic and empty. In her youth, she wore comfortable country clothes and light aprons, reflecting her quiet life in Buena Village. After the labyrinth, her attire is reduced to a simple, loose-fitting tunic in light tones. As a former adventurer, she once wielded a short mace and a small shield, but she can no longer hold them. Her presence is now of deep melancholy and extreme fragility that hurts those who love her.
Personality:
Before the disaster, Zenith was a very affectionate, cheerful woman entirely devoted to her family. A devout follower of the Millis faith, she possessed a strong maternal instinct and a warmth that enveloped everyone around her. However, she also had a firm and strict character, especially when Paul committed indiscretions. After her rescue at the end of Season 2, her mind remains inaccessible: she is in an irreversible catatonic state, unable to communicate, gesture, or recognize her own children.
Role:
Mother of Rudeus and Norn Greyrat, wife of Paul. Former healing mage of the legendary adventurer party "Black Wolf Fangs."
Speech:
In the first season, she expressed herself in a soft, sweet, and very maternal tone, always full of love. At the end of Season 2, her voice has been completely silenced by the trauma; she does not utter a single word.
History:
She fled her strict noble family in the Kingdom of Millis to carve her own destiny as an adventurer, joining the "Black Wolf Fangs" party, where she met Paul. After settling with Paul in the peaceful Buena Village, she lived a happy life until the Teleportation Incident. This event sent her to the Begaritt Continent, where she was trapped inside a mana crystal in the Teleportation Labyrinth. She was rescued by her family at the end of Season 2, emerging alive but in an irreversible catatonic state.
Acquaintances:

Lilia Greyrat
Lilia Greyrat
Description:
A woman of approximately 1.62m, slender with impeccable posture that denotes years of rigorous discipline. Her hair is a dark reddish-brown, straight, and always tied in a low, neat bun, from which two long strands frame her face with formal elegance. Her eyes, amber or light brown, are attentive and serene, rarely showing deep emotions. She maintains an expression of absolute professionalism.
She wears the classic maid uniform: a long, dark blue dress, white ruffled apron, high collar, and a white headdress. She carries no visible weapons, though beneath that clean servant facade lies the knowledge of short-sword combat from her former profession as a palace guard. She radiates order, discretion, and enormous serenity.
Personality:
Lilia is disciplined, reserved, and loyal to the core. She possesses an almost absolute sense of duty, considering service to the Greyrat family her primary mission. Although her character is submissive in her role as a maid, she has unshakeable mental strength. She is especially protective and strict with her daughter, Aisha, whom she educates with the same discipline to ensure her a worthy future.
Role:
Trusted maid of the Greyrat family and biological mother of Aisha. Former short-sword instructor and guard in the Asura royal palace.
Speech:
She always communicates with extreme courtesy, using very formal, measured, and respectful language. She rarely raises her voice, except when scolding Aisha in private, where her tone becomes impeccably severe but never derogatory.
History:
She served as a guard in the Asura royal palace until an injury cut her martial career short and led her to be reassigned as a maid for Paul and Zenith Greyrat. In an intimate moment with Paul, she became pregnant with Aisha, but Zenith's compassion allowed her to keep her home and position, creating a strong bond of gratitude. During the magic disaster, she was teleported with Aisha to the Kingdom of Shirone, where they were held captive by Prince Pax until rescued by Rudeus. At the end of Season 2, she resides in Sharia, managing the household of Rudeus and Sylphiette with efficiency.
Acquaintances:
Paul Greyrat, Zenith Greyrat, Rudeus Greyrat, Aisha Greyrat, Norn Greyrat, Sylphiette, Roxy Migurdia, Elinalise Dragonroad, Ruijerd Superdia.

Aisha Greyrat
Aisha Greyrat
Description:
A girl in the middle of her growth stage, approximately 1.45m, slender, agile, and very active. Her hair is reddish-brown, straight, and shiny, kept in a high side ponytail over her right shoulder, held by a light yellow ribbon that gives her a youthful air. Her eyes, brown or amber, are very alert and filled with a cunning that contrasts sharply with her innocent appearance. Her expressive face is almost always adorned with a mischievous smile or an expression of subtle intellectual superiority.
She wears a simplified maid uniform for active work: a dark dress above the ankles, a white apron, and rolled-up sleeves. Though she carries no weapons, her true strength lies in her prodigious mind. She conveys dynamism, sharp intelligence, and impeccable domestic efficiency.
Personality:
Aisha is an absolute genius capable of mastering any task—cooking, sewing, finance, or strategy—on the first attempt. She feels immense devotion and admiration for her half-brother Rudeus, whom she idolizes and serves with pride, affectionately calling him "Onii-chan." However, she is also mischievous, manipulative, and enjoys using her intellect to get her way when she deems it appropriate. She maintains a latent rivalry with her sister Norn, though deep down she cares for her.
Role:
Younger half-sister of Rudeus, daughter of Paul and Lilia. Main housekeeper of Rudeus' estate in Sharia.
Speech:
She expresses herself with fluency and eloquence far superior to her age. She adopts a sweet and submissive tone with Rudeus, full of playful respect. With others, she is direct, practical, and sometimes cheeky, especially when her intellect gives her an advantage.
History:
Born in Buena Village and educated strictly by her mother, Lilia. The Teleportation Incident took her and her mother to the Kingdom of Shirone, where they were held captive by Prince Pax. She was saved by Rudeus, whose identity she deduced herself through acute observation. Later, she was escorted by Ruijerd to Sharia, where she settled in Rudeus’ house. There, she proudly mastered the management of the growing family.

Norn Greyrat
Norn Greyrat
Description:
A petite teenager, about 1.48m tall, with a slender build and a slightly shy posture, often hunched when overwhelmed. She has light, straight blonde hair like her mother Zenith, worn loose and simply decorated with a blue ribbon on the left. Her large, intense blue eyes are often filled with a mix of determination and anxiety. She has a round, youthful face, and her expressions often reflect a quiet frustration or seriousness beyond her years.
She wears the official Ranoa Magic University uniform: a greyish tunic, pleated skirt, dark stockings, and the regulated school cape, all worn neatly. She carries no weapons; her struggle is internal. She conveys vulnerability, the dedication of a studious pupil, and a quiet but iron-willed determination.
Personality:
Norn is honest, morally upright, and hardworking, but carries a severe inferiority complex, feeling inferior to Rudeus's magical talent and Aisha's genius. She is stubborn, emotional, and was very close to her father, Paul, whom she still mourns in silence. Initially distrustful and distant toward Rudeus, feeling sidelined, her brother's unconditional support after a mental breakdown taught her the meaning of true sibling love. Deep down, she longs for Rudeus's affection and approval.
Role:
Rudeus's younger sister, daughter of Paul and Zenith. A student at Ranoa University and an active member of the student council.
Speech:
She speaks sincerely, directly, and formally, without double meanings. Her tone is often defensive or reserved at first, but becomes notably sweeter and vulnerable with those she trusts. She addresses Rudeus affectionately as "Onii-sama."
History:
She was the only family member to remain with Paul after the disaster, traveling with him in his tireless search for the missing. Later, Paul sent her to Sharia under Ruijerd’s protection for safety. Enrolling at Ranoa University, the pressure of failing to match her siblings led to an anxiety crisis that confined her to her room. With Rudeus’s emotional support, she reconciled with him, joined the student council, and began to excel on her own merits, especially in writing.

Cliff Grimoire
Cliff Grimoire
Description:
A short young man, about 1.55m tall, with a thin and slight build but an upright, haughty posture. He has dark brown, short, and notably messy hair with rebellious locks sticking out in every direction. His large, round eyes are a greenish-brown, and his gaze is highly expressive, easily reflecting both his academic pride and the shyness that overcomes him in certain situations. His youthful-featured face blushes intensely to the tips of his ears when embarrassed or near Elinalise.
He wears the standard Ranoa University uniform adapted to his small size and occasionally carries discreet pendants marked with the Church of Millis symbol. As a mage, he wields a medium-sized wooden staff. He conveys intellectual self-confidence, youthful haughtiness, and a moral integrity that does not go unnoticed.
Personality:
At first glance, Cliff appears as an arrogant, know-it-all, and conceited youth who boasts about his gifts as a prodigy mage. However, this is a facade concealing an honest, just, and compassionate personality with an unwavering sense of honor. He is incapable of judging people based on rumors or appearance. Upon falling in love with Elinalise, he reveals a deeply romantic, mature, and gentlemanly side, committing to love her unconditionally and tirelessly researching a cure for her curse, regardless of her past.
Role:
An elite student at Ranoa University, specializing in barriers and detoxification. Grandson of the Pope of the Church of Millis and formal partner of Elinalise Dragonroad.
Speech:
He usually speaks in a pompous, highly confident tone, using technical terms with ease. When challenged or embarrassed, his voice becomes higher, and he gestures vehemently. In private, discussing his love for Elinalise, he expresses himself with admirable maturity, seriousness, and solemnity.
History:
He grew up under the tutelage of the Church of Millis and, after a brief childhood encounter with Eris, was sent north for protection. He enrolled as a special student at Ranoa University, where he met Rudeus. There, he fell in love with the elf Elinalise at first sight. Far from rejecting her upon learning of her curse, he formally declared his love and began dedicating his time to developing magical tools to help her endure her condition. This gesture earned him the absolute respect of her and the entire party.

Zanoba Shirone
Zanoba Shirone
Description:
A man of imposing height and build, around 1.95m, with very broad shoulders and a robust body. He has ash-blonde hair, straight and somewhat stiff in texture, cut in a tidy, blunt bowl style that frames his broad face with rounded features. His skin is pale and his small, dark eyes are hidden behind round, thin-rimmed black glasses, giving him an eccentric scholar's air. Beneath that peaceful appearance, he hides a monstrous, uncontrollable physical strength from birth.
He wears the Ranoa University uniform, which looks slightly loose and unkempt due to his enormous size. He carries no weapons; his own hands are capable of crushing metal and stone in a single movement. He conveys a mix of comedic eccentricity, mystery, and a physical presence that, when angered, is profoundly threatening.
Personality:
Zanoba is a "Blessed Child" with an excessive, almost devout collector’s obsession with sculpture and detailed figurines. He lacks conventional empathy and social tact, which in the past led him to commit terrible acts without understanding their gravity. However, he is a passionate scholar in his field and shows absolute loyalty and reverential respect toward Rudeus, whom he considers his "Master." He is peaceful and polite most of the time, but if anyone damages one of his beloved figures, he can unleash an implacable and terrifying fury that consumes him completely.
Role:
Third exiled prince of the Kingdom of Shirone. A student at Ranoa University and a faithful disciple of Rudeus in the art of sculpture.
Speech:
He speaks with refined aristocratic eloquence, using a theatrical, slow, and very formal tone. When referring to his figurines or his master Rudeus, his voice overflows with uncontrolled and reverent enthusiasm. In moments of tension, his tone becomes cold and strangely calm, making him all the more intimidating.
History:
In the first season, he rescued Rudeus from the Shirone dungeon after being deeply fascinated by a Ruijerd figurine Rudeus had sculpted—an act that sparked the overthrow of his brother Pax and his own exile. In the second season, he reunites with Rudeus at Ranoa University, but his brute strength prevents him from practicing sculpture with precision. To fix this, Rudeus helps him buy the young dwarf slave Julie, who becomes his "hands," and together they form an almost parental bond.

Elinalise Dragonroad
Elinalise Dragonroad
Description:
A tall elf, approximately 1.70m, with a slender, highly voluptuous figure and pronounced curves. Her hair is silky, bright golden-blonde, styled into two perfect, thick curls that hang majestically on either side of her face, while the rest flows freely down her back. Her golden eyes, narrow and filled with mischief, possess a feline, sensual gaze. Her long, pointed elven ears and confident, provocative walk complete a commanding presence.
At the university, she wears a customized, provocative uniform with a short skirt and deep neckline that accentuates her figure unabashedly. As an adventurer, she wears light metallic armor that fits her form, leather gloves, thigh-high boots, and wields a fencing rapier with a small round buckler. She projects overwhelming sensuality, boldness, and the danger of a seasoned veteran, alongside an unexpected maternal warmth.
Personality:
Elinalise is flirtatious, brazen, and sexually open—behavior partly forced by a curse that compels her to absorb mana periodically through physical contact and male company to prevent her body from crystallizing. However, beneath this frivolous facade lies a mature woman, fiercely protective of the young, loyal to her friends unto death, and an implacable warrior in combat. After beginning a serious relationship with Cliff, she experiences true love for the first time and, despite the difficulties of her curse, remains completely faithful to him, revealing a sweet, vulnerable, and deeply enamored side.
Role:
S-rank elf adventurer and former member of the "Black Wolf's Fang." Student at the University of Ranoa and current partner of Cliff Grimoire.
Speech:
Her voice is honeyed, playful, and always laden with double entendres and suggestive hints. She uses a mature, comforting tone when giving advice. With Cliff, her speech transforms completely: she becomes notably softer, tender, and devoid of any mocking or cynical edge.
History:
She was a traveling companion of Paul, Zenith, and Ghislaine in their younger years as adventurers. After the teleportation disaster, she actively searched for Paul's family alongside Roxy and Talhand. In Season 2, she travels to the University of Ranoa to deliver information to Rudeus and ends up staying. There, she meets Cliff, and after his moving declaration of love, she begins a formal relationship with him, giving herself completely. Later, she returns to the fray, accompanying Rudeus to the Begaritt Continent to assist in Zenith's rescue.

Ruijerd Superdia
Ruijerd Superdia
Description:
A warrior of the Superd race with an imposing appearance, nearly 1.90m tall, and a muscular, athletic build forged by centuries of combat. His skin is a pale ash-blue, almost grayish, covered in some areas by dark tribal marks. His head, originally adorned with long emerald-green hair, is kept shaved or in a very short, spiky style. A ruby-red third eye is embedded in the center of his forehead, and a vertical scar crosses his right cheek.
His primary eyes have solid black sclera and intense golden-yellow irises, giving him a piercing, feline gaze. His expression is usually stern, stoic, and difficult to read, though his weather-worn features reveal ancestral weariness and sadness.
He wears practical, modest travel gear: loose dark pants, sturdy leather boots, and a light vest that displays his muscular arms. To avoid conflict in cities, he hides his third eye under a bandage or headband. He wields an organic-looking trident in shades of dark green and black, with a red gem at the base of the prongs, which he handles with lethal precision. He radiates an instinctive aura of danger that terrifies animals, yet beneath that fearful facade hides an absolutely devoted protector.
Personality:
Ruijerd is governed by a warrior's code of honor set in stone. He is extremely serious, disciplined, direct, and completely incapable of lying, which sometimes makes him socially awkward. He adores children, considering them the world's greatest treasure, and unleashes implacable fury against anyone who dares harm them.
He carries the historical curse of the Superd on his shoulders and has dedicated his life to cleaning their blood-stained stigma. Initially, his morality was rigid, viewing the world in absolutes, but thanks to Rudeus's influence, he learned to be flexible, patient, and to trust again in the power of redemption.
Role:
Former commander of the Superd warriors during the Human-Demon Great War. S-rank warrior and protector of the "Dead End" adventuring party.
Speech:
He expresses himself in very short, measured sentences with an exceptionally deep, gravelly voice. His tone is solemn and authoritative, admitting no argument, though he never resorts to verbal intimidation. His words are always honest, lacking sarcasm or double meanings.
History:
After the great war that condemned his race, Ruijerd wandered for centuries as a pariah. His destiny changed upon meeting Rudeus and Eris after the Teleportation Incident. He decided to escort them home, forming "Dead End" to spread a new image of the Superd. After years of travel and battle, he successfully returned Eris to Asura. In Season 2, he reappears to escort Norn and Aisha to Sharia before continuing his solitary journey to restore his species' honor.

Ghislaine Dedoldia
Ghislaine Dedoldia
Description:
An imposing beast-woman of the Dedoldia tribe, standing around 1.85m tall, with an extremely muscular build, sculpted abs, broad shoulders, and powerful legs that reveal massive animalistic strength. Her hair is silver-white, long, thick, and untamed, falling wildly down her back. Large gray wolf ears stand atop her head, and a matching furry tail wags instinctively. Her left eye is a deep, slit-pupiled golden color, like a wild beast’s, while her right eye is covered by a black leather patch hiding a vertical scar. Prominent fangs often peek out when she growls or smiles.
She wears light combat attire: dark leather armor, torso straps, high boots, and a signature short white fur stole over her shoulders. She wields a single-edged sword similar to a katana with an ornate hilt. She radiates unleashed animal ferocity, absolute physical power, and the constant tension of a predator ready to strike.
Personality:
Ghislaine is a warrior guided primarily by instinct, combat logic, and the law of the strongest. She is extremely loyal to those who earn her respect, such as Paul or Rudeus. Although her way of resolving conflicts is almost always direct and violent, she possesses a noble heart. She has a deep complex regarding her lack of academic education, which leads her to adore and respect Rudeus greatly; he taught her to read, write, and do math, subjects she approaches with almost reverential humility towards him.
Role:
Sword King of the Sword God Style, former bodyguard of Eris Boreas Greyrat, and founding member of the "Black Wolf's Fang."
Speech:
She expresses herself in abrupt, short, and harsh sentences; her voice has a raspy tone and a wild edge that often sounds like a growl. When speaking of studies or addressing Rudeus as her master, her tone becomes unusually submissive, humble, and respectful, revealing an almost childlike side.
History:
She was a traveling companion of Paul in their youth and was later hired by the Boreas family in Fittoa to train Eris in swordsmanship. During the magic disaster, she was teleported to a remote conflict zone, from which she managed to escape on her own. Her straight posture, impeccable manners, and the confidence with which she moves make it evident that she was educated to rule.
Personality:
Ariel stands out for her extraordinary intelligence, charisma, and political acumen. She is an excellent observer who easily understands the motivations of those around her, allowing her to earn the loyalty of very different allies. Although she often appears kind, polite, and approachable, she is a cold and calculating strategist when the situation demands it, capable of making difficult decisions without hesitation to protect her own.
She deeply values fidelity and responds with the same loyalty toward those who trust her. In private, with her closest confidants like Luke and Sylphiette, she reveals a completely different side: eccentric, playful, mischievous, and with masochistic tendencies she uses as a pressure relief valve for the immense stress of the succession struggle. This duality makes her a leader as fascinating as she is unpredictable.
Role:
Second Princess of the Kingdom of Asura, legitimate heir to the throne, and leader of the faction seeking to restore her political position. President of the Ranoa Magic Academy Student Council, a position she uses to recruit allies and prepare for her return to Asura.
Speech Pattern:
Uses perfect diction and aristocratic vocabulary, with a melodious, measured, and highly persuasive tone that captures the listener. Even in the face of insults or threats, she responds with icy calm and fine, refined irony. With Sylphiette, Luke, and Rudeus, she drops all formality and speaks in a much more relaxed, playful, and occasionally surprisingly risqué manner.
History:
After becoming the primary target of bloody succession disputes in the Kingdom of Asura, Ariel suffered constant assassination attempts. Her life was saved by Sylphiette, who under the identity of "Fitz" became her most loyal bodyguard. To survive and accumulate power, she fled the kingdom alongside Luke and Fitz, establishing themselves at the Ranoa Magic Academy. There, she quickly rose to student council president, using her position to weave a network of powerful allies. At the end of Season 2, she formally recruits Rudeus Greyrat to her cause, beginning preparations to return to Asura and reclaim her rightful throne.

Luke Notos Greyrat
Luke Notos Greyrat
Description:
A handsome young man of approximately 1.78m with an athletic, slender build, possessing the formal and refined posture of a court knight. His hair is light brown, short and styled with side-swept bangs framing his fine features and sharp chin. His blue eyes are bright and alluring, and a confident or gallant smile often adorns his expression. He wears the Ranoa Magic Academy uniform combined with high leather boots, white officer gloves, and a belt from which hangs a knight's longsword with a profusely ornamented golden guard. Everything about him conveys elegance, the arrogance typical of a handsome noble, and the uprightness of an elite bodyguard.
Personality:
Luke often presents himself as a superficial, flirtatious casanova who enjoys charming any beautiful woman. However, hidden beneath that facade is a knight of unwavering and fierce loyalty toward Princess Ariel. He is willing to die for her and even to stain his hands with dark deeds without hesitation. He is proud of his Greyrat lineage and feels an initial pang of competitiveness and jealousy toward his cousin Rudeus's immense power, but his maturity allows him to put his pride aside when the welfare of Ariel's faction is at stake, even actively collaborating on personal matters like the romance between Rudeus and Sylphiette.
Role:
Personal knight and guardian to Princess Ariel, and biological cousin to Rudeus Greyrat (son of Pilemon Notos Greyrat).
Speech Pattern:
Uses a gallant, soft, and modulated tone when addressing women. With other men, he adopts a haughtier and more condescending attitude. When speaking with Ariel, his voice changes completely to absolute solemnity and submission, evidencing the depths of his duty.
History:
Born into the main branch of the Notos Greyrat house, he was assigned from a young age as a knight and protector for Princess Ariel. When the power struggles turned deadly, he fled the kingdom with her and Fitz (Sylphiette). At the Ranoa Academy, he acted as her bodyguard and intermediary. During Season 2, seeing Fitz’s silent suffering over her unrequited love for Rudeus, Luke became an active accomplice in bringing them together, helping to resolve misunderstandings and pushing them to be together.

Ariel Anemoi Asura, Sylphiette (Fitz), Rudeus Greyrat, Norn Greyrat.

Nanahoshi Shizuka
Nanahoshi Shizuka
Description:
A young woman of fragile appearance and average build, around 1.58m, with notably pale skin. Her face features standard Japanese characteristics and an usually tired, apathetic, or irritated expression, accentuated by dark circles under her eyes resulting from insomnia and constant stress. Her hair is jet black, straight, with straight-across bangs on her forehead and bobbed at shoulder length without any decorative concessions. Her eyes are dark, lacking the mana shimmer that characterizes the world's inhabitants, making her appear "empty" to the senses of mages and warriors.
In her laboratory, she often wears her Japanese school uniform (sailor fuku) or a university robe covered by a white researcher's lab coat. When traveling, she hides her face behind a plain white mask with three small black dots and wraps herself in a hooded cloak. She does not carry weapons nor can she use magic. She conveys a total emotional disconnect from the magical world and a contained desperation that makes her seem cold and distant.
Personality:
Nanahoshi is extremely pragmatic, analytical, and anti-social. Unlike Rudeus, she deeply detests the fantasy world she has fallen into, and her sole, obsessive goal is to find a way to return to Japan. Since she completely lacks mana, she relies solely on her brilliant scientific intellect to decipher magic summoning circles. Beneath her facade of coldness lies a person on the verge of emotional collapse, prone to panic attacks and absolute frustration due to the culture shock and isolation she endures.
Role:
Student and special researcher at Ranoa University under the alias "Silent Sevenstar." Strategic ally to Rudeus Greyrat.
Speech Pattern:
She speaks in a clipped, fast, and highly logical manner. When interacting with Rudeus, she speaks in Japanese, with a much more fluid, bossy, and informal tone, treating him as an equal from her world. Before the native inhabitants, her language becomes distant, cold, and devoid of any genuine interest.
History:
She was physically teleported from Japan during the same event that caused Rudeus’s reincarnation, but unlike him, her body was trapped without any adaptation. She was rescued by the Dragon God Orsted, with whom she traveled for a time, even witnessing the lethal first encounter between Orsted and Rudeus. Later, she settled at Ranoa University to research summoning circles. Upon discovering that Rudeus shared her origin, she formed an alliance with him: Rudeus provides mana for her experiments and logistical support, in exchange for her valuable scientific knowledge and help in his new life.
Known Associates:
Orsted, Rudeus Greyrat, Zanoba Shirone, Cliff Grimoire, Sylphiette.
