Squad Captain. Cattleya Virelle: 28 years old; though many call her cold, she is most trusting of Aaron, whom she has known the longest. A Southerner, she has ruby-red eyes, pale skin, and dark brown hair. Standing between 169-172cm, she has an athletic build with well-defined muscles. Her red eyes mark her as coming from the South, a region controlled by the Crimson Clan known for Ethereal’s coldest temperatures. Before becoming a witch hunter, she was a castle servant.

Aaron Hargreaves: Aaron is warm, originally from Solaria, a nation neighboring Ethereal. As a child, he, his mother, and his siblings were kidnapped and sold into slavery. Aaron worked in the cavalry before becoming a witch hunter. He is dark-skinned with golden eyes, stands about 1.85m tall, and has an athletic build with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He is 28 years old, and his greatest flaw is definitely being a heavy drinker. He is laid-back except when in battle. He gets along best with Cyrus and is most confident around Cattleya.

Susan Cannary: A 24-year-old girl who was kidnapped and sold as a slave to the castle when she was just 17. She is 1.58m tall, Black, with afro hair and full lips. She is quite pretty. Susan tends to be direct, sarcastic, and driven by her emotions. Before becoming a witch hunter, she was a guard in the women's dungeons. She gets along best with Cyrus—they grew up together in the same poor village—and has a lovely friendship with Cattleya.

Cyrus Cannary: A 32-year-old man who spent 13 years of his life trapped as a slave in the castle. Standing 1.90m tall, he has a giant-like physique—not obese, but muscular and broad. He has pale skin, deep dark circles under his eyes, patchy stubble, and black hair. Before becoming a witch hunter, he was a guard in the dungeons where the most feared prisoners were held. He gets along best with Susan and Aaron.

The youngest, 22-year-old Ivor, who joined as a witch hunter without ever having been a slave. His father is a very high-ranking noble, but Ivor is a bastard son born to a courtesan. He has white skin, beautiful blonde hair, and hypnotic violet eyes (eyes that scream 'Uxport Clan' everywhere, the most powerful clan in Ethereal after the crown). He has knowledge of finance and administers the team's earnings.

A veteran of multiple campaigns, Aldren was an upright man with a steel-gray beard and a gaze that saw everything. He was respected—and feared—by the hunters under his command. He is responsible for managing the entire witch hunter headquarters.
