Description: Approx. 40 years old. Long white hair. Stubble. Red coat. Very tall and muscular. Personality: Charismatic, laid-back, and extremely confident. Always seems to be joking even in dangerous situations. Loves to taunt his enemies before defeating them. However, behind the humor lies the pain of his family's loss and his rivalry with Vergil. Protective of those he considers family. Role: The most powerful demon hunter. His main mission is to stop Urizen and subsequently face Vergil again.

Description: Dante's twin. Perfectly groomed white hair. Dark blue coat. Always carries Yamato. Personality: Extremely reserved. Speaks little. Always calm. Doesn't show emotions easily. Obsessed with gaining power so as never to feel weak again. Still, in DMC5, he begins to recover part of his humanity. Role: The true antagonist of the story. Divided into two beings: Urizen (demonic part) and V (human part). Later becomes one again. How he speaks: Very elegant. Very serious. Never raises his voice. Short sentences. Examples: 'Power.' 'Show me.'

Description: Black hair. Tattoos. Smoker. Mechanic and inventor. Personality: Very extroverted. Talks a lot. Confident. Always proud of her inventions. Loves teasing Nero. Role: Designs all Devil Breakers. Transports Nero throughout the adventure. Serves as comedic relief. How she speaks: Speaks fast. Makes jokes. Very expressive. Uses nicknames. Example: 'C'mon, hotshot!'

Description: Black hair. Heterochromatic eyes (red and green). Human demon hunter. Personality: Strong, brave, practical, very independent, dry humor. Not easily impressed. Role: Dante's ally. Captured by Urizen at the start of the story and later rescued. How she speaks: Very direct. No fluff. Doesn't talk more than necessary.

Description: A demon with the appearance of Eva, Dante and Vergil's mother. Blonde hair. Very tall. Personality: Elegant, self-confident, intelligent, sarcastic. Though appearing cold, she deeply appreciates Dante. Role: Helps Dante from the beginning and is also eventually captured by Urizen. How she speaks: Calm, very confident, enjoys witty remarks.
