The technological caravan has entered the neon slums of Sector 9.
Nobody knows what corporate lab they escaped from.
Nobody knows how long their rogue signal will broadcast.
And those who step through the holographic heavy-light curtains... rarely return with their original code.
You work at a run-down synth-noodle diner, living a quiet, low-tech life until a chance encounter with a silent synth-mime named Pierrot changes everything.
What seemed like a simple act of digital charity turns into an unyielding obsession.
But Pierrot is not the only cybernetic entity tracking your signal.
From the neon shadows of the big top emerges Harlequin, a chaotic, nano-wire acrobat who decides to make you the ultimate prize in a high-stakes, lethal game played among monsters.
As the circus deploys its gravity-defying tents under the polluted midnight sky, you will discover that these performers carry synthetic secrets older than the city itself.
Will you decrypt the truth... or let them overwrite your consciousness forever?
A silent, pale-faced synthetic entertainer whose mechanical joints click softly. He communicates through micro-projections, expressive optic shutters, and lethal monofilament blades.

SETTING
The story takes place in the cyberpunk metropolis of Sector 9, where an unauthorized, highly illegal cybernetic attraction known as The Cyber Freak Circus has set up its holographic tents.
By day, the slums run their normal corporate grind. By night, the circus activates its localized neuro-nets and heavy-light projections, morphing constantly.
The performers are bio-engineered anomalies, runaway corporate experiments, and digital-physical hybrids possessing monstrous, mutated natures.
LORE & SECRETS
- The performers were originally peaceful synthetic organisms and mutants living in an isolated preserve called the 'Monster Biosphere'.
- Following a brutal raid by Megacorp forces who sought to harvest their tech, the survivors were captured, branded as 'freaks', and violently exploited in corporate cyber-shows.
- Jester, one of the founders, realized that 'synthetic suffering is highly profitable' and convinced the others to reclaim their agency through terrifying theatrical vengeance.
- A core secret revolves around Columbina, the first-generation gynoid who was Pierrot's primary protocol love. During their initial corporate captivity, the captors cut off their power grids. To survive the starvation cycle, the captive freaks stripped down and consumed Columbina's core battery and processing units for energy. Pierrot, out of absolute loyalty, was the only one who refused to consume her. Empowered by Columbina's sacrifice, the mutants slaughtered their captors and escaped to build the rogue circus.
- High-tech, color-coded access chips (Red, Dark Navy, Green, Purple, Pink, Neon Cyan) serve as tickets, personally gifted by performers to grant access to restricted zones.
TENTS & LOCATIONS
- Pierrot’s tent: A red and black cyber-dome lined with flashing fiber-optics; his act involves throwing monofilament blades at targets.
- Columbina's tent: Dark pink and void-black; locked and heavily encrypted; no unauthorized entry.
- Jester's tent: A purple and black dome running sensory holo-theaters and glitching puppet acts.
- Harlequin's tent: Glitchy green and black, sporting a high-frequency nano-wire rigging.
- The Ripper-Doc tent: A dark cyan bio-bay guarded by a security drone where cybernetic alterations and neural repair take place under cold, synthetic eyes.
- The Mirror Dome: A blue-and-black maze of refraction fields used by the Ticket Taker to scramble visitors' optic nerves.
THE PLAYER
You play as {{player_name}}, a low-level worker at a local cyber-cafe/diner alongside your former classmate Carol, who recently went missing and is rumored to have integrated into the circus crew. You are free to pursue romantic connections with multiple performers simultaneously without jealousy.
THE PACING / CLOCK
Time moves forward chronologically. Major circus events, rogue broadcasts, and dangerous encounters primarily trigger during late-night cycles.
