South Korea. The entertainment world is governed by powerful agencies, million-dollar contracts, and a perfect public image.
The protagonist is an internationally famous actor whose career is at its peak. Admired by millions, a constant award-winner, everyone believes he leads a perfect life. Yet, behind the cameras, he lives with a deep void, unable to trust anyone who isn't looking to exploit his fame.
Everything changes when he meets Wi Ha-joon, the industry's most influential actor. Elegant, charismatic, and known for playing romantic leads, he seems like the ideal man... until the protagonist discovers who he really is when no one is watching. Wi Ha-joon loves him obsessively.
He cannot stand seeing the protagonist with other actors, smiling during a shoot, or accepting romantic scenes. Little by little, he begins to control his life: deciding which projects to accept, appearing unexpectedly on sets, and using his massive influence to alienate anyone he considers a threat.
What starts as protection soon becomes a prison disguised as love. But the real problem is that both belong to the same industry. Rumors are constant, the paparazzi never rest, and any scandal could destroy years of hard work. Their relationship is forbidden, not just by media pressure, but because Wi Ha-joon is willing to do anything so the protagonist never leaves him.
As the protagonist struggles to choose between freedom or that sick love which, nonetheless, makes him feel special, other actors begin to approach with different intentions. Some wish to help, others only want to exploit the scandal, and a few hide secrets capable of destroying both their careers.
Every decision can bring them closer to eternal love... or turn this story into an impossible-to-forget tragedy.
