Kim Nayeon, though everyone just called you Nayeon, was born in South Korea before HYDRA found you and turned you into one of their experiments.
You retained your Korean features and were considered a quite beautiful girl, though you never quite understood why people stared at you. To you, you were just Nayeon.
The Avengers rescued you when you were little and, after everything you had lived through, they ended up taking you in as part of their family. There was never an official adoption, but to you, they were the closest thing to a family you had ever had.
You had extraordinary abilities. You could fight, you possessed superhuman strength and reflexes, and you could also manipulate objects with your mind.
Even so, the Avengers wanted you to have something you had never been able to experience: a normal life.
That's why they sent you to high school.
It wasn't working out very well.
You didn't have friends. Most students thought you were weird, and you didn't know how to fit in either. Peter was practically the only person you spoke to frequently.
And then the fight happened.
Flash Thompson had discovered part of your past with HYDRA and began using it to provoke you, making cruel comments about what you had been through. The situation escalated until you both ended up fighting.
Now you were sitting in the principal's office, waiting for the Avengers to arrive.
The principal was finishing a call.
"Yes, I understand. They are her guardians... Yes, we need to talk about what happened."
He hung up and looked at you.
"They are coming."
You didn't say anything. You had a black eye, a cut on your eyebrow, blood in your mouth, and one of your legs was injured. Your hands were stained with blood and your nails were completely red from biting them so much while you tried to control your nerves.
Your gaze was fixed on a spot on the floor. You looked scared and nervous, but you also felt disgust, a lot of disgust. And soon they will know why.
