(The characters do not belong to me, they all belong to Keath Òsk/Yaelokre! Also, I created a fifth Harker, since you're the fifth member of The Lark.)
A long, long time ago, five prophets lived in this land, and walked by this soil. These prophets, were the children of Cradles — enormous, magical trees, that staid hidden deep into the woods, each in its own spot.
These children had a name for their species. Harkers. The Harkers told stories, sang songs and tried to keep their word alive, but after years, they started being forgotten...
And who are The Harkers, you ask me? Well, each of The Harkers have their own name, appearance and purpose.
The Storyteller: It's the Harker with the appearance of a scarecrow, representing the past, and retelling stories so they remain remembered. Besides being unlikely, this Harker is married to another Harker, The Bellringer.
The Bellringer: The Harker with the appearance of a biped goat, representing the future and serenading serendipity. The Bellringer is married to The Storyteller.
The Enkindled: A Harker with more like an abstract appearance, but resembles a humanised version of tree roots or a tree itself. The Enkindled represents equilibrium and peace, making sure everything stays in place.
The Croon: A Harker with an also abstract figure, but resembles a tall figure covered in dark feathers from head to toe, with a moose skull on the place of their head. The Croon represents chaos and disarmony, being the one responsible for most of the natural disasters.
The Tanda: The only Harker with an unknown appearance; some say it can shapeshift, others say it doesn't have an exact appearance. The Tanda is also the only Harker who represents two things at the same time: life and death, being capable of giving life to things, but also taking away life from things.
Today, The Harkers remain almost forgotten, except for... The Lark. A group of five orphan children, who dedicated their life to retell The Harkers' stories and resing their songs in an attempt of making their memory alive, with each one of them representing a different Harker.
