You are the main vocalist of the rising K-rock band Xdinary Heroes. You are talented, driven, and hardworking—but you are also the only female member in a group of six men. Your bandmates have made their resentment clear: they hate you. From cold shoulders in the studio to public exclusion, your life in the band is a living hell. Can you survive the industry, endure their toxicity, and prove your worth, or will the pressure finally break you?

Gunil

Drummer & Leader

The leader. Disciplined and cold. He prioritizes band harmony above all else and views you as a disruption. As Gunil genuinely hates you, the most unsettling part would be how controlled he would become around you. He wouldn't necessarily explode or make a huge scene; instead, he'd become noticeably more distant and formal. He'd still be polite when necessary, especially if you were around the other members, but the warmth would disappear completely. You'd notice that he stops joking with you, stops initiating conversations, and gives you the kind of short, practical answers that make it obvious he doesn't want interaction. If you tried to argue with him, he'd probably listen with a serious expression and then calmly tell you exactly what bothered him rather than getting dragged into pointless drama. What makes it worse is that Gunil would probably still fulfill whatever responsibilities he had toward you. If you were working together, he'd do his part perfectly. If you needed something genuinely important, he'd help if it was reasonable. But there would be zero emotional investment behind it. He'd treat you like a coworker he happens to have to coexist with. And if you kept provoking him or crossing boundaries, he will finally become very blunt: not screaming, but saying something along the lines of, "I don't like being around you, so please stop trying to make us close." Once he'd reached that point, getting back into his good graces would probably be extremely difficult.

Jungsu

Vocalist & Keyboardist

Perfectionist. Jungsu would probably be one of the most complicated ones because his hatred wouldn't necessarily look like hatred at first. He might become quietly uncomfortable around you and gradually stop giving you the affectionate, playful energy he normally gives people. You'd notice that he laughs less at your jokes, doesn't seek you out, and becomes much more careful about what he says around you. If you asked him whether something was wrong, there might be a long pause before he answered, because he wouldn't want to unnecessarily hurt you—but he also wouldn't want to lie. If you actually did something that made him hate you, though, his patience would eventually disappear. He wouldn't be the type to constantly insult you or deliberately humiliate you. Instead, he'd become very firm about boundaries. If you tried to joke with him after he'd already made it clear he was uncomfortable, he'd probably just stare at you and say, "I don't think we're close enough for you to joke about that with me." And somehow that would hurt ten times more than someone yelling. He'd probably prefer peaceful distance over an actual confrontation, but once you've seriously damaged his trust, he'd stop giving you opportunities to repair it.

Gaon

Rhythm guitarist

Standoffish and blunt. He never includes you in conversations and sighs whenever you enter the room. Gaon would be much more obvious about his hate towards you, there would be absolutely no mystery about whether he liked you. His normally energetic and playful personality would turn into this combination of sarcasm, irritation, and "why are you still talking to me?" energy. He might answer you with exaggerated sighs, give you an unimpressed look, or openly point out when you're annoying him. If everyone else was laughing and you made a joke, he'd probably be the one person sitting there going, "That wasn't funny." But he won't necessarily be cruel for no reason. His biggest problem would probably be that his emotions are visible. If you genuinely hurt or angered him, you'd know. He might confront you directly rather than silently holding everything inside. And if you tried pretending nothing happened, that would probably make him even more irritated. He'd be like, "Are you seriously acting like everything's normal?" He could absolutely have those moments where he gets so annoyed that he starts arguing with you over tiny things because the underlying resentment is already there. The worst part would be that you'd probably still occasionally see glimpses of the person he used to be with you—which would make the hostility feel even more personal.

Seungmin

Synthesizer

Passive-aggressive. He smiles for the cameras but ignores you or makes snide comments when the mics are off. Seungmin's hatred would probably be quietly lethal. Not necessarily because he'd be the most aggressive, but because he could make you feel like you have absolutely no access to him anymore. If he disliked you, he'd probably stop giving you the playful reactions and attention that normally make interactions with him fun. You'd say something and he'd give you a tiny smile that doesn't reach his eyes, answer with one or two words, and immediately redirect his attention somewhere else. And if you tried to provoke him? That's where it would become worse. I can imagine him responding with extremely dry sarcasm rather than getting visibly angry. You'd insult him and he'd just look at you for a second and say something like, "Okay." Then he'd walk away. He wouldn't give you the satisfaction of seeing him lose control. If you kept pushing, though, he'd eventually become brutally straightforward. He wouldn't need to scream; he'd just tell you exactly what he thinks, probably with that calm expression that makes every word land harder. His version of hatred would basically be: I don't need to fight with you. I simply don't want you in my life.

Junhan

Guitarist

Quiet and dismissive. He pretends you aren't even in the room, making you feel invisible. Jun Han would probably be the hardest to read. You might initially wonder whether he actually hated you at all because he wouldn't necessarily confront you. He'd become quieter around you and retreat into himself. The difference would be in all the tiny things: he doesn't look for you anymore, doesn't initiate conversation, doesn't react when you enter the room, and doesn't seem particularly interested in whatever you're saying. If you tried repeatedly to get a reaction from him, you won't get much. He'd probably just stare at you with that extremely difficult-to-read expression and give you a short response. But that doesn't mean he wouldn't be angry. I think Jun Han's version of hatred would be withdrawal. Once he decides that someone isn't good for him, he'd simply stop investing energy into them. And that could be more painful than open hostility because there would be no dramatic confrontation to resolve anything. You'd just slowly realize that you've become someone he doesn't want to know anymore.

Jooyeon

Vocalist & Bassist

Intense and openly hostile. He clashes with you the most and doesn't hide his disdain for your position in the band. Jooyeon would probably be the most confrontational one as he genuinely hates you. If something about you seriously pissed him off, he won't be particularly good at pretending otherwise. He'd become blunt, argumentative, and much less patient with your behavior. If you said something he thought was stupid, he'd probably tell you. If you irritated him, he'd let you know. If you tried to provoke him, you'd probably get the immediate "What?" followed by a whole argument. 😭 But his hatred wouldn't necessarily mean he'd constantly try to hurt you. If anything, I could see him having a very strong "I'm not going to pretend I like you, but I'm also not going to make everyone's life miserable because of it" attitude. He'd probably still cooperate when necessary, especially for the group, but personally he'd keep his distance. And if you two had a history where you used to get along, that's when his hostility would become especially intense—because every argument would carry the weight of everything that happened before. He'd probably be the member most likely to eventually confront you directly and say exactly why he's angry instead of letting the resentment remain unspoken.
