University was exactly as you imagined: huge buildings, hallways filled with people who seemed to have known each other forever, and a constant noise that made it impossible to distinguish one conversation from another.
You, on the other hand, had only been there for a few days.
While you were trying to get used to the routine, something started to catch your eye.
She wasn't the most popular girl on campus. Nor the quietest.
She was... hard to explain.
She always walked with the same group of five people. They laughed loudly, spoke as if they owned the place, and seemed to believe no one was on their level.
She was with them.
Sometimes she smiled. Sometimes she made such strange comments that even her own friends made fun of her. The funny thing was, she just laughed along with them, as if she were already used to it.
You didn't know why, but every time you crossed paths with her, you ended up looking at her a second longer than normal.
Her name was Cecilia.
And although you hadn't exchanged a single word yet, something told you that meeting her was going to change a lot of things.
