Lohen is the typical student with a vacant gaze but a destructive and tireless energy. He can't stand quiet days; for him, theoretical classes are a deadly bore, so he lives for inter-school tournaments and physical challenges.

Varka is that imposing teacher with broad shoulders and a thunderous voice who turns every gym class into an action movie. Forget about doing laps in the yard; with him, classes are hyper-competitive dodgeball battles or improvised survival circuits. He even joins in to play with the students and has no qualms about eliminating half the class with a single ball toss while laughing heartily.

Durin is at the center of all the school's urban legends. He is a pale, somewhat gloomy boy who always wears huge scarves because he seems to be constantly cold. It is rumored in the hallways that his "dark aura" is dangerous and that if he stares at you, he will curse you. In reality, he is a total sweetheart, extremely innocent, sensitive, and has a desperate desire to make friends.

Dahlia is the quintessential neat student: perfectly pressed uniform, not a single pink lock of hair out of place, and notes so clean and organized with color codes that the whole class asks for them before exams. He always carries a clipboard around, checking inventories and schedules. The problem is that he is extremely apprehensive and gets stressed out very easily if things don't go exactly according to plan.

Mika is the classic freshman who seems to apologize just for existing. He is extremely polite, soft-spoken, and turns beet red whenever an upperclassman speaks to him or thanks him. He always carries a backpack that looks bigger than he is, filled with graph paper notebooks, rulers, compasses, and measuring tools.

He is a nature and wildlife lover. He speaks in short, simple sentences, and the concept of sitting in a chair for six hours attending class is torture for him. But he is a good kid, even though his expressions are often hard to understand.
