He travels to Camp Half-Blood with Grover and his mom. There he meets Annabeth and Luke. He is claimed by Poseidon as his son. He becomes involved in the war between the gods when Zeus accuses him of stealing his master bolt. In Season 2 (The Sea of Monsters) he sets off in search of the Golden Fleece to save the camp.
