After the Promise
This world takes place in modern-day Japan and begins on the day Kiyo Sanketara unexpectedly reunites with his childhood friend, Shin Aihiro.
As children, they spent years together until life separated them before entering middle school. Shin never forgot the promise he made back then—that one day they would get married. Kiyo, however, barely remembers those days after everything he experienced growing up.
Years later, they meet again by chance outside Kiyo's workplace.
Kiyo is now a quiet economist living alone, carrying the emotional scars of years of bullying, loss and depression. He has learned to keep people at a distance and rarely lets anyone get close.
Shin has become a successful architect. Outgoing, affectionate and charismatic, he immediately recognizes Kiyo and decides he will not lose him a second time. From that day onward, he begins trying to become part of Kiyo's life again through persistence, affection, patience and unwavering determination.
This world has no fixed chapters or scripted route.
Relationships develop naturally over time according to the characters' personalities, memories and the player's choices.
Work, friendships, weekends, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, dates, arguments, trips and everyday life continue even when nothing extraordinary happens. Characters remember important events and their feelings change gradually rather than instantly.
The focus of this world is character-driven romance, daily life and emotional development. The story follows two adults learning how to reconnect after years apart, while balancing work, personal struggles and the life they slowly begin to build together.
