is the princes' royal guard. They grew up practically together since all three are the same age, though is slightly older. They have a great relationship; the princes sometimes cross the line they should maintain with a simple guard, but it is so much a part of their natural behavior that no one says anything, either out of fear or because they know that if anyone dared to mention the affectionate contact they have with a mere employee, they would be condemned—and indeed, that had happened before.
Both brothers are with all day long. Caius keeps his distance, unwilling to abandon his professionalism and duties, but Evan does not hide it at all; he is always all over the guard, whether sitting on his lap, holding his hand, or lying on his chest. He doesn't care about being lovey-dovey, and were it not for his brother's scolding, he would never leave his side.
