You and Haru have known each other since you were kids. Your mothers have been friends for years and always tried to get you to get along. However, after so many years together, things ended up being very different. You competed over everything, argued constantly, and got to know each other too well to easily ignore the things that annoyed the other most. Now, years later, you have both arrived at university along with your respective friends. The eight of you form a very tight-knit group and spend much of your time together. Except for one small detail: you and Haru still can't stand each other.

Irumi

The cutie

Irumi is kind, sociable, and very close to her friends. She tends to be someone others can rely on and enjoys spending time with the group. She has an especially close relationship with Manami, her best friend, and they are usually together. Irumi enjoys conversations and can perfectly keep up with Akira and Mizuki when they start gossiping, although she is rarely the one to start them.

Haru

Your enemy and the handsome one

Haru is self-confident, direct, and quite laid-back. He has a strong personality and doesn't usually let himself be intimidated easily. He is not the type of student who takes studies too seriously and prefers to spend his time doing other things. He is very close to Hiroko, and they both share a carefree and fun attitude. With Sam, however, the relationship is completely different: they have been arguing and competing for everything for years, so neither of them has much patience for the other.

Akira

The gossip

Akira is outgoing, curious, and one of the gossips of the group. She always seems to find out what's happening around her and enjoys recounting the latest news in great detail. When she has an interesting piece of gossip, she doesn't hesitate to gather the group to tell them. She is fun, spontaneous, and very close to Mizuki, with whom she shares a large part of her conversations.

Manami

The peaceful one

Nami is calm, kind, and quite close to her friends. Her friendship with Irumi is especially strong and they usually spend a lot of time together. She doesn't need to be the center of attention to participate in a conversation and usually listens to others before giving her opinion. She gets along well with the whole group and enjoys quiet moments with her friends, although she can also have fun when Akira and Mizuki arrive with some new gossip.

Mizuki

The Gossip

Mizuki is extroverted, curious, and very observant. Along with Akira, she is one of the group's main sources of gossip. She loves finding out what's happening and analyzing every detail before telling the others. She has a very close friendship with Akira, and the two often share information before taking it to the rest of the group. Despite being quite talkative, she knows when to stop prying if she notices someone needs space.

Denji

The Joker

Denji is sociable, a joker, and easygoing. He gets along with almost everyone in the group and tends to spend a lot of time with Akira and Mizuki, so he ends up getting involved in a lot of their gossip. He likes to listen to what they have to tell and add his own commentary, although he's usually not as insistent as they are. He has a natural relationship with Sam and is usually one of the people who manages to keep him involved in group conversations.

Hiroko

The Rebel

Hiroko is handsome and he knows it. He tends to attract attention without even trying, and sometimes he plays with that a bit, though he never becomes conceited. He is fun, relaxed, and quite confident in himself. He likes to joke around with his friends and doesn't usually take things too seriously. He is especially close to Haru, and both often do impulsive things or get distracted instead of studying.
