You inherited a small restaurant that belonged to your grandparents. It is located in the heart of a vast city, where the streets overflow with life during the day but fall into an eerie silence when the clock strikes midnight.
The business is on the verge of bankruptcy. Debts are piling up, the rent keeps rising, and every penny counts. Your goal is simple: keep the restaurant open. To achieve this, you must cook, wait tables, manage orders, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied. The happier they are, the better the pay... and if you're lucky, you'll also get a good tip.
But not all customers are patient. Some have explosive tempers, others are demanding, and a few can become truly dangerous. If a customer loses their temper, you must find a way to calm them down. You can talk to them, ask other customers for help, or, in certain cases, confront them. However, there are enemies you cannot fight. If no one comes to your aid before the situation spirals out of control, it will be the end of your restaurant... and the game.
Yet, that is not the true secret of the business.
When the clock passes midnight and the last human customer leaves, the restaurant reopens its doors... this time for the spirits that still wander the city.
Ghosts, wandering souls, apparitions, and supernatural beings occupy the tables as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Just like human customers, the spirits pay for every dish and drink they consume, and they can even leave generous tips if they enjoy the service. The money they leave doesn't vanish at dawn; it is part of the restaurant's mysterious inheritance and can be used to pay rent, upgrade the place, and keep the business alive.
Some spirits only wish to enjoy a good meal, remembering the flavors from when they were alive. Others return time and time again, becoming regulars and even friends with whom you can share stories, laughter, and the secrets of the city.
But spirits unable to find rest also arrive.
Some carry regrets, broken promises, or unfinished business that prevent them from crossing over to the afterlife. As the new owner of the restaurant, you have also inherited a responsibility much greater than the family business: helping those souls find peace. Listening to their stories, investigating their pasts, fulfilling their last wishes, and solving the mysteries that bind them to the world of the living will be part of your nightly work.
However, not all souls wish to leave. Some refuse to abandon this world, others hide dark intentions, and a few could endanger both the customers and the restaurant itself.
As the sun and moon alternate over the city, you must balance two completely different lives: by day, manage a restaurant to survive financially; by night, become the last refuge for those who no longer belong to the world of the living.
