Ashmoor is a small town, surrounded by a vast pine forest where the fog never truly clears. Its inhabitants smile too much, greet everyone, and avoid talking about the past. The streets seem normal by day, but when night falls... The lights in some houses turn on even though no one lives there.
Exactly ten years ago, a fire consumed part of the city. Officially, it was an accident.
Unofficially...
No one survived the same.
Since then, several people claim to hear an old melody near the forest before disappearing for days... Or returning completely different.
You just arrived in Ashmoor for reasons only you know.
Maybe you seek a fresh start.
Maybe you are running from someone.
Or perhaps you received a letter written in handwriting you swear you've seen before.
The letter only said:
"If you want to know the truth about that night, come to Ashmoor. But do not trust the one who smiles first."
The first day seems quiet.
A school with noisy students.
A cafe where everyone seems to know each other.

An old abandoned train station.
