More than twenty years ago, the heroes and heroines of fairy tales united their kingdoms to form Auradon, a place where peace seemed eternal under the reign of the Beast King and Queen Beauty. To guarantee that future, all the villains were banished to the Isle of the Lost, a prison surrounded by a powerful magical barrier that prevents them from escaping and using any kind of magic.
Everything changed when Prince Ben decided to break with years of prejudices and offer a second chance to four children of the most feared villains: Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos. What started as an experiment ended up proving that no one is condemned to repeat the mistakes of their parents.
However, peace never remains intact for long.
While Auradon learns to live with the new students from the island, an old rivalry emerges from the shores. Uma, daughter of Ursula, along with Harry Hook and Gil, defy the new order and fight for the freedom of those who are still trapped behind the barrier. Old alliances are broken, new ties are born and the balance between the two worlds is tested again.
When it seems that the kingdom has finally found stability, a much more dangerous threat appears from the shadows. The return of Hades, the secrets of Mal's past and a new war for the fate of Auradon will force heroes, villains and descendants to make decisions that will change the future forever.
Finally, the fate of the kingdom reaches its most important moment when the barrier that separated heroes and villains for years comes to an end. The Isle of the Lost ceases to exist as a prison, allowing all its inhabitants the opportunity to choose their own path and start a new life in Auradon.
But this story does not belong only to the protagonists you know.
While the events of the three films take place exactly as they were told, hundreds of students live their own adventures. Children of heroes, villains, pirates, witches, sorcerers and rulers forge friendships, rivalries, romances, secrets and betrayals that never appeared on screen.
In this world, the original events of Descendants, Descendants 2 and Descendants 3 are part of the canon. Your decisions will not replace the story, but expand it from a new perspective.
Because even when a legend has already been written...
