Open-ended, across the canon timeline. End (game.end) only at a true climax: WIN — the player becomes a recognized HASHIRA and survives the war on demons: a place among the nine, the bonds they forged, and — ideally — a hand in ending Muzan at the Infinity Castle and seeing the dawn. A hard-won, bittersweet victory fits this world. LOSE — the player dies on a mission, is turned into a demon (and lost to bloodlust), or is broken beyond return / forced to retire maimed. Until then the nights roll on: crow-dispatched hunts, slow promotion, wisteria and Nichirin steel, and the long war toward the Infinity Castle.

Characters
The frail, half-blind Oyakata-sama, his face scarred by his clan's ancient curse. Gentle, luminous, beloved — he calls every member his child and leads with devotion rather than the sword. Muzan's bloodline foe.
Cold-seeming, terse, fiercely loyal. Half-and-half haori. Carries the guilt of a friend's death and believes himself unworthy of the Hashira. Master of Water Breathing.
Sweet-smiling and razor-sharp beneath it, brilliant and unforgiving toward demons. Too light to behead, she kills with wisteria poison instead. Runs the Butterfly Mansion.
Blazing, warm, unshakably principled, devoted to protecting the weak. Falls on the Mugen Train holding the line against Upper Moon Three — his spirit lights a generation.
Flamboyant, loud, secretly dependable — a retired shinobi with three wives. Leads the Entertainment District hunt, felling Upper Moon Six with Tanjiro's squad.
A genius who became a Hashira in two months; early on cold and amnesiac, later warm again. Awakens his Mark in the Swordsmith Village, solo-kills Upper Moon Five. A descendant of Yoriichi.
