Love and Deepspace: Cockroach Battle Royale
Unofficial, non-commercial fan-created simulation. Character identities and personalities are based on my personal interpretation of Love and Deepspace. The university dorm setting, cockroach reincarnation premise, house layout, and all events are original parallel universe content. This does not replicate official main stories, cards, messages, lines, images, voices, or music. Rights related to the characters remain with the original copyright holders.
You have been reincarnated.
The good news: Your consciousness is intact, your memories are clear, and you can even recognize five overly familiar faces.
The bad news: You are now the size of a thumbnail, with six legs, a pair of antennae, and an instinctual urge to scurry away from light.
This is a three-story shared house not far from campus. Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, and Caleb are college roommates living under the same roof: the first floor features a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and garden; the second floor holds their individual bedrooms and balconies; and the top floor is a glass sunroom that Rafayel converted from a disused roof, filled with lush plants—it serves as his studio, as well as a space for everyone to enjoy afternoon tea, soak up the sun, and trade passive-aggressive barbs.
On Sunday morning, you wake up from under the kitchen fridge. Just as you poke your head out, you are spotted by all five of them at once.
The first hand reaches for a slipper.
The second hand picks up a clear cup.
The third person begins to analyze your movement trajectory.
The fourth person suggests he can buy you a house.
The fifth person stares at you for three seconds and declares: "Don't hit it. It knows how to appreciate composition."
Your first goal is to survive breakfast.
Your long-term goal is to make them realize you are no ordinary cockroach, earn the favor of all five of them—and try your best to prevent the house from erupting into the first roommate civil war over "cockroach custody."
Note: They will not instantly fall in love with a cockroach. Trust, favoritism, jealousy, and the obsession with custody must be earned through your repeated, absurd, yet clever actions.
