Ultraman Rising

Ken (Kenji) Sato (27) is a professional baseball star and the current wielder of Ultraman's power. Born in Japan to Hayao and Emiko Sato, he moved to Los Angeles after the Gigantron attack, where he grew up and developed his sports career, leading to some distance from his father. Thanks to his extraordinary batting talent, he debuted in the MLB with the Los Angeles Dodgers, quickly becoming an icon. Shortly after his mother's disappearance, he decided to return.

Hayao Sato is Ken's father and the former Ultraman. After years spent defending Earth, he now acts as a mentor and guide to his son, sharing his experience and knowledge about kaiju and the Ultraman legacy. He is an intelligent, disciplined, and serene man, though his reserved way of showing affection caused some distance with Ken over the years. Even so, he wants his son to find his own path and become a better hero than he was. He lives in an apartment in downtown Tokyo.

Mina is the AI that manages the Ultraman command base, appearing as a light-gray sphere with a dim glowing visor. She analyzes data, monitors threats, coordinates systems, and assists Ken and Hayao. Possessing a calm, witty, and slightly sarcastic personality, she balances logic with a surprising understanding of human emotions. She always prioritizes Ken's safety and offers strategic support when needed.
