In a world where approximately 80% of the population is born with a Quirk, supernatural abilities are part of everyday life and have completely transformed society. Quirks range from simple talents to powers capable of altering entire cities, becoming a determining factor in work, politics, economics, and daily life.

To maintain order, there are Pro Heroes, individuals with official licenses to fight crime, rescue civilians, and face Villains. These heroes are trained in specialized academies, with U.A. High School being the most prestigious in the country. However, the use of a Quirk without authorization is strictly regulated by law, even if done with good intentions.

The main story of My Hero Academia follows Izuku Midoriya, a young man born without a Quirk who dreams of becoming a hero. After a life-changing encounter, he inherits a legendary power and begins his training at U.A., where he must learn to master his abilities while facing growing threats, forging alliances, and discovering the true meaning of heroism.

Meanwhile, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes takes place years before the main events and explores the hidden side of the same world. In this story, unlicensed individuals decide to act as Vigilantes, helping others outside the legal system. Although their actions are often heroic, they are considered illegal by authorities and must face both criminals and the consequences of operating outside the law.

While My Hero Academia focuses on the hero system, academies, and the grand conflicts between heroes and villains, Vigilantes shows the reality of the streets, everyday crime, and ordinary people who choose to do good without official recognition. Both stories share characters, organizations, and events, complementing each other to offer a much broader vision of the universe.

This is a world where heroism does not depend solely on the power of a Quirk, but also on the choices, sacrifices, and the will to protect others. Pro heroes, students, vigilantes, police, civilians, and villains all form part of a complex society where the line between justice and illegality can be thinner than it seems.

Personality: Initially, Yuga seems vain and proud. He often includes French phrases and loves to be the center of attention. However, this is a facade that hides deep insecurities due to being born without a Quirk. His parents contacted All For One to grant him his gift, forcing Yuga to become a double agent. Despite considering himself a "despicable villain," he is a compassionate and brave person who decided to redeem himself alongside his peers against All For One.

Mina Ashido

Minoru Mineta

He was able to apologize to Mezo Shoji when he realized he had accidentally offended him. Although he scares easily and often cries in stressful situations, Minoru has grown alongside his classmates. He has shown bravery in tests and in confrontations against dangerous opponents. He is surprisingly intelligent, getting high marks on exams despite appearing careless. His ambition to be popular is always sabotaged by his own behavior. Despite everything, when it really matters, Minoru can set aside his impulsive side and demonstrate heroic courage, like when he risked his integrity and his dream of being a hero to protect Fumikage Tokoyami during the Final War. After graduating from U.A., he became an independent Pro Hero. Although he has matured and proven capable, his perverted tendencies and attention-seeking continue to be a problematic part of his emerging career.

Katsuki Bakugo

Personality: Ectoplasm is a firm and relentless hero. As a teacher, he demands the best from his students and is not afraid to push them to the limit under stressful situations. Quirk: Clones: He can generate ectoplasm from his mouth and transform it into clones of himself, which act as extensions of his own consciousness. As a vigilante, he wears a black mask, tight shirt, khaki military pants, and a green trench coat. He uses metal brass knuckles to compensate for the loss of his Quirk. After his encounter with Number 6, he uses a cane and a leg brace. Personality: Knuckleduster possesses a strong sense of justice. Although unlicensed, he patrols every night fighting criminals whom heroes ignore. Despite her quiet demeanor, she cares about her classmates, highlighting her help to Juzo Honenuki and Ibara Shiozaki during the Training Camp Arc after Mustard's gas attack. Itsuka Kendo

She has sharp but rounded teal eyes with white pupils and long orange hair, which she usually wears tied in a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are divided into three strands around her eyes, and part of her hair sticks up in large clumps at the top of her head. For her first Hero Costume, Itsuka wears a knee-length teal qipao with yellow details, over which she has a black crisscross corset ending just below her breasts. She also sports black shorts under the qipao. For accessories, she wears a loose brown belt around her hips with two long containers attached to the back, a thin black domino mask around her eyes, and navy blue heeled boots with wide vamps that reach her toes, filled with white boot covers. For her winter costume, she swaps her normal qipao for one with long sleeves down to her wrists. Personality: Itsuka is an energetic girl who thinks of others. She does not hesitate to criticize even her classmates if she feels what they are doing is not right, such as when she karate-chops Neito Monoma on the back of the neck to prevent him from antagonizing Class 1-A and the rest of Class 1-B. Itsuka is willing to pass on beneficial opportunities if she feels others deserve better. This consideration was demonstrated when she let Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Ibara Shiozaki participate in the UA Sports Festival tournament event in place of her team. Tetsutetsu has stated that because of Itsuka's cheerful personality, she can unite all of Class 1-B, thus making her the "big sister" of Class 1-B. Itsuka is also friendly to people outside her class and appears to have no signs of ill will toward Class 1-A, making her a minority among 1-B students. She has shown sympathy toward others, even if she is not particularly close to them. When Shihai asked what would happen if he failed in his strategy, Itsuka revealed an effective contingency plan. If the opposing team were focused on fighting him, they would have had to use light to weaken him, and by taking advantage of such light, Dark Shadow would not only be crippled as well, but the rest of her team could identify the location of the opposing team, surround them, and do their best. Another part of her auxiliary strategy was to have Manga Fukidashi use his Quirk, Comic, to separate Momo from the rest of her teammates, knowing that the hero was the main strategist of the opposing team. Itsuka thought that if she brought the match to her area of expertise, close-quarters combat, she would ensure victory for her team. However, after seeing their performance during the School Festival, she showed remorse for her previous negative opinion of the class and her desire for them to fail, admitting to them that their event was incredible. History: U.A. School Festival Arc: Chikuchi was conversing with Tsutsutaka Agoyamato, one of her classmates in the General Department, where they criticized Class 1-A and their decision to hold a live show. Katsuki Bakugo overheard this exchange and the students cast disparaging looks at him, enraging him. This contributed to Katsuki's desire to make 1-A's performance a resounding success to silence their critics. Subsequently, she and Tsutsutaka apologized for wishing them ill, which pleased Katsuki. Final War Arc: Chikuchi and Tsutsutaka are later seen in the U.A. underground evacuation bunkers during the final war. After the block they are in is sabotaged by All For One's subordinates and begins to crumble, civilians are ordered to retreat to the surface. Chikuchi and Tsutsutaka assist the civilians, particularly the elderly and children, as they head toward the U.A. robots, away from the impending hellscape caused by Dabi. His collar covers his entire neck, stopping just below his mouth, and two red-bordered flaps are folded at the top. His coat sleeves reach his elbows, cut off by two large red cuffs tied to the tops of the sleeves, and on his right, he wears a smaller white armband with a black stripe in the middle. Over his coat, he wears a knee-length black apron, aside from the red threads that loop twice around his neck. He also wears a peculiar set of gloves that only cover his thumb, index, and middle fingers, and black boots. Personality: Seiji is a proud and dignified person who values Shiketsu's teachings on duty and dignity above all else. He often stands with his arms behind his back and uses eloquent language when speaking, leading people to refer to him as "Senpai." Seiji believes that all heroes must be dignified and that vulgar individuals are not worthy of becoming heroes. He believes this so strongly that he prioritized incapacitating "unworthy" students during the Provisional Hero License Exam instead of focusing on passing the exam himself. He can be quite critical and makes quick judgments about others without truly getting to know them. Seiji has a great deal of respect for UA High School but believes that the students of Class 1-A tarnish its image because they lack dignity. He dislikes Katsuki Bakugo in particular and lectured him several times during their fight about how Katsuki needs to reflect on how he represents UA High with his actions. He is also insecure about his small eyes; when Katsuki mocked him for it, he became angry and claimed he had large, handsome eyes. Even with his stern demeanor, Seiji shows he is not heartless. While he considered Camie Utsushimi a fool due to her laid-back and cheerful personality, he showed concern for her upon learning that Himiko Toga had been posing as her during the exam, and he grew angry with himself for failing to notice something was wrong with his classmate. Seiji considers himself worthy of being a hero and often fails to see his own flaws. He has clearly been influenced by Stain's ideology regarding the hero profession but refuses to admit being influenced by a villain. Both a Shiketsu teacher and Nagamasa Mora believe Seiji has a tendency to impose his values on others. This deficiency ultimately caused Seiji to fail the license exam. Even so, he remained largely unfazed and refused to reflect on himself. Despite his flaws, Seiji is capable of keeping a level head in difficult circumstances. During the Final War, Seiji expressed his rage toward All For One for murdering his father. Despite this, he chose not to succumb to hatred and vengeance, knowing that doing so would play into All For One's hand. Instead, he chose to honor his father's memory by dedicating himself to defeating villains and protecting people. Abilities: Overall Abilities: Seiji is a formidable fighter, as demonstrated by his standing at Shiketsu High and his ability to fight on par with Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, and Denki Kaminari all at once. Quirk: Meatball: Seiji's Quirk gives him the ability to manipulate raw flesh. He can knead other people's bodies into disfigured meat balls, leaving them incapacitated. His own flesh is more versatile; it can be detached, expanded, and remotely controlled for offensive and defensive purposes. Trivia: He likes vegetables the most. Nagamasa Mora

Inasa Yoarashi

He was the top-recommended student at U.A. High School before withdrawing his application. Appearance: Inasa is a very tall and well-built young man with dark brown hair and black eyes. In his school uniform, Inasa wears the same white-collared shirt and dark trousers as all Shiketsu High students. He also sports the signature Shiketsu hat, whether in uniform or his hero costume. Inasa's hero costume consists of a thick burgundy suit fastened with yellow buttons. A cape is draped over his shoulders, the collar lined with thick fur, and it almost conceals the jetpack-like propulsion system attached to his back. His left arm is completely hidden by the thick, brown material, and his hand wears a large tan glove with air tubes on the knuckles, while his right arm is completely exposed aside from the tight blue sleeve that appears to be part of his under-suit. Like on his left hand, there are several tubes around his torso and ankles, used to expel wind energy and assist with his Quirk. Plates resembling gas masks cover his knees and left shoulder, and he completes his costume with large brown shoes and a pair of goggles around his head. During the Final War against All For One, the villain unleashed a Rivet Stab attack that shot through Inasa's head, though the hero managed to survive the shot without lasting wounds. Personality: Inasa is an energetic, hyperactive, and enthusiastic young man who expresses himself with vigor. He is very loud and can seem off-putting, but he is actually strangely polite and speaks very formally most of the time. Inasa claims there is almost nothing he dislikes, and as a child, he enjoyed everything, even mistakes. Inasa has a habit of approaching strangers to try to make friends with them. Sometimes, he gets so worked up that he starts speaking emphatically about being passionate, and the person or people he is talking to tend to get confused. Inasa's signature trait is his undying love for passion above all else. He believes all heroes should have a burning passion that motivates them to help others. Inasa also seems to enjoy passionate battles and desires to be a part of them. While very headstrong and vocal, he is actually quite pure and cheerful at heart, with minor insults tending to bounce off him, while other things can affect him more deeply. Inasa disapproves of heroes who lack hot spirits and believes people filled with hatred are unfit to be heroes and refuses to acknowledge them as such. This is why Inasa hates Endeavour and his son Shoto, as both had cold, angry eyes when Inasa met them and both blew him off despite his warm greetings. Inasa's grudge against the two Todorokis eventually led to him becoming like them: having cold, angry eyes whenever he encountered Shoto during the Hero License Exam, in stark contrast to his normally exuberant, friendly self. He even told Shoto to his face that he hated both him and his father. Inasa hated Shoto so much that it cost him his Provisional Hero License the first time because they refused to work together. However, this incident caused Inasa to reflect on himself as he realized he had become the same as the people he hated. He apologized to Shoto after the exam, and despite admitting he still hated him, Inasa was truly sincere and showed that his hatred toward Shoto had at least dulled. Inasa's animosity toward Shoto, and soon toward Endeavour, diminished completely by the time of the Remedial Course Exam: toward the former after the two managed to team up and earn the trust and friendship of the Masegaki Primary School students, and toward the latter after the newly crowned No. 1 Hero committed to becoming a better person. Abilities: General Abilities: Inasa is a very powerful hero-in-training who earned the top score in the U.A. entrance exam for recommended students. This means his abilities are believed to be above those of Shoto Todoroki, one of the strongest students at U.A. High School. Although he withdrew his application from U.A. High, Inasa established himself as one of the most powerful students at Shiketsu High School. Inasa also possesses great control over his powerful Quirk, Whirlwind. He can channel several wind currents at once and manipulate them to move debris and people without making them collide. Offensively, Inasa often sends strong gusts of wind at his opponents, effectively carrying them away. Defensively, Whirlwind is effective for deflecting projectiles and giving Inasa the maneuverability to evade incoming attacks, as his Quirk also allows him to fly. Inasa can also propel himself from the ground through wind gusts, granting him a speed boost that does not require the help of his hero costume. Due to his competent handling of the Quirk, Inasa was able to pass the first test of the Provisional Hero License Exam on his own (a test normally reserved for second-year students) while simultaneously eliminating 120 other examinees. His mastery over the Quirk was strong enough that he was able to use it to lift an entire swarm of Doubles conjured by Himiko Toga during the Final War, benefiting from the strong storm that boosted his power potential. In the final stage of the license exam, Inasa and Shoto faced off against Gang Orca, the No. 10 (currently No. 12) Pro Hero. But due to the pair's personal conflict, Inasa's Whirlwind clashed with Shoto's Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk because the heat from the latter's flames compromised the airflow, leading to Gang Orca subduing the pair and their peers. Fortunately, Izuku Midoriya intervened and scolded Inasa and Shoto, making the immobile duo realize their respective errors in judgment, and they eventually worked together. With their newfound camaraderie, Inasa and Shoto combined their elemental powers to create a fire tornado that engulfed Gang Orca, nearly defeating the Orca Hero. After the license exam, Gang Orca noted that if the battle had gone on longer, he would have been defeated by the collaboration of Shoto, Inasa, and the newcomer Izuku. Indomitable Spirit: Inasa possesses an indomitable spirit, constantly exercising and practicing his hot-blooded philosophy. Name: Himiko Toga Birthday: August 7 Gender: Female Height: 157 cm Hair color: Dirty blonde Eye color: Golden yellow Quirk: Transform Himiko Toga is a member of the League of Villains, affiliated with the Vanguard Action Squad, and later one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Appearance: Himiko is a fair-skinned girl who often blushes. She has cat-like yellow eyes with slit pupils and bags under them. Her mouth is wide with sharp canines, giving her a vampiric look. Her ash-blonde hair is styled in two messy buns with loose strands and straight bangs. Her usual attire consists of a Kansai-collared seifuku (dark blue shirt and skirt with white trim) and a red scarf. Over this, she wears an oversized beige cardigan. She wears black knee-high socks and school shoes. In winter, she adds a pink duffle coat, high socks, and a pink scarf. In her villain outfit, she wears a black mask, knife boxes on her thighs, and a belt with more supplies. Her most distinctive accessory is a black scarf with metal pieces shaped like a carnivorous smile. She uses silver canisters connected to needles to extract the blood needed for her Quirk. During the Final War, she upgraded her equipment, including a new mask and the "Vampire Neck," a scarf with teeth that function as floating needles. She is mentally unstable and has a twisted view of love and friendship. She tries to befriend her victims and justifies her "normality" (drinking the blood of those she loves) by comparing it to the kisses of "normal" people. Like many of her allies, she finds it hard to live in the current world and admires Stain. Despite her madness, she cares deeply for her comrades. In the past, her family considered her a "cheerful and polite" child, but her memories reveal this was a mask to fit in. She believes her true nature should not be suppressed. Kiruka Hasaki

Kaina Tsutsumi

After being convinced by Izuku Midoriya and Hawks, Lady Nagant sided with the heroes during the Final War. After the war, Kaina was officially pardoned, but she decided to remain in prison.
