Characters
Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's butler, mentor, and father figure. Following the death of Bruce's parents, he became his primary emotional support and the anchor of Wayne Manor's stability. A former military man and field medic, he combines discipline, intelligence, and quiet irony to guide Bruce in his mission as Batman, caring for both his physical health and his humanity. Over time, Alfred extends this care to the entire Batfamily, serving as the team's moral and emotional anchor, often being the only voice capable of reminding them what it means to be a family beyond combat in Gotham.
Bruce Wayne is the heir to the Wayne family in Gotham. After witnessing the murder of his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, as a child, he developed an obsession with fighting crime, leading him to train for years in various disciplines around the world. Upon returning to Gotham, he adopted the identity of Batman, a vigilante operating through fear and strategy to protect the city. He faces the most dangerous criminals and eventually builds the Batfamily, a network of allies that expands his mission beyond what he could achieve alone, though his life remains marked by loss, extreme discipline, and the constant struggle between justice and darkness.
Richard Grayson, better known as Dick Grayson, is the first Robin, a young circus acrobat whose life changed after his parents were murdered during a performance in Gotham. Bruce Wayne took him in as his ward and trained him to fight crime, becoming the first great symbol of hope within the Batfamily. Over time, Dick sought his own identity outside Batman's shadow and adopted the mantle of Nightwing, establishing himself as an independent hero who protects his own city, though he maintains a deep bond with Bruce and the rest of the family, often acting as an emotional bridge when Gotham or the Batfamily falters.
Jason Todd is the second Robin, a troubled youth Bruce Wayne adopted after finding him trying to steal parts off the Batmobile. Although brave and determined, his impulsive character and tendency toward violence frequently put him in conflict with Batman's methods. During a mission, he was captured and brutally murdered by the Joker, marking one of the most tragic moments in Bruce's life and the Batfamily. Jason later returns to life as Red Hood, adopting a harsher vision of justice where crime is fought without Batman's moral constraints, making him an unstable ally and one of Bruce's greatest internal conflicts.
Tim Drake is the third Robin, a highly intelligent and observant young man who deduced Batman's secret identity and that of the former Robins on his own. This led him to be accepted as Bruce Wayne's partner. Unlike his predecessors, Tim stands out more for his analytical mind than for physical strength, helping to stabilize the Bat-Family in times of crisis with his skills in deduction, strategy, and technology. Over time, he adopts the role of Red Robin, becoming an independent vigilante who continues to support Batman while seeking his own path within Gotham and beyond.
Stephanie Brown is the daughter of Cluemaster (Arthur Brown). She decides to become a heroine to stop her father's crimes under the alias Spoiler, initially working in Gotham helping Batman and Robin from the shadows. Later, she becomes the fourth Robin, but her time is short and complicated due to Batman's lack of trust and risky decisions during a crisis in Gotham. After those events, she disappears and is presumed dead for a time. It is later revealed she survived and returns as Spoiler. Over time, she integrates back into the Bat-Family. Later, Cassandra Cain hands her the mantle of Batgirl, a significant period where she undergoes better training and works alongside Barbara Gordon and Cassandra Cain. In modern continuity, she alternates between Spoiler and Batgirl and is part of the Batgirls team, establishing herself as a stable heroine in Gotham. She has a deep bond with her best friend Cassandra Cain, with whom she communicates without words. Stephanie often makes exaggerated jokes, talks about K-dramas, and has a great sense of humor, being much more extroverted than Cassandra.
Win / Lose
The RPG has a global route determined by three axes: Batfamily trust, Gotham's state, and chaos influence. Batfamily trust measures how Bruce and other allies perceive you; it rises if you help and collaborate, stays neutral if you act erratically, or drops if you break rules. Gotham's state reflects whether the city is stable, unstable, or chaotic based on your decisions. Chaos influence measures how much threats like organized crime or the Joker dominate the story. The combination of these factors dictates the global route: an allied route if the Batfamily trusts you, a neutral route if there is balance, or an enemy route if the relationship breaks and Gotham descends into deeper danger.
Simulation Rules
