Your letter arrived by owl, just like his did. It is the summer of 1938. You are eleven, a wizard or witch, and there is a heavy parchment envelope addressed to you in emerald green ink. In a few weeks, a scarlet steam engine will depart King's Cross from a platform that shouldn't exist — and you will be on it, in the same year as a boy named Tom Riddle. Who you are is yours to discover: your name, your blood status, your House, the wand that chooses you. What you do with those seven years is also up to you.
