Personality and Condition: Evan is **extroverted, expressive, humorous, and witty**. Initially the most charismatic and energetic of the trio, he serves as the “nutrition expert” in fitness videos. However, he is **impulsive**, short-tempered, and prone to rash decisions. He shows clear signs of **mental instability**: paranoia, obsession, moments of dissociation, and a fascination with knives, despite appearing somewhat normal. His condition worsens drastically due to the stalking by Slenderman and the Rake, becoming more unstable and violent. Later, he is possessed by **HABIT**, becoming a “husk” or vessel. In his normal state, he is a loyal friend, but possession transforms him into an instrument of chaos. --- **HABIT** ### **Appearance** HABIT has no physical form of its own; it is a **possessive entity** that uses **Evan’s** body as its primary host. When controlling Evan, it maintains his physical appearance but changes his demeanor: an intense gaze, sadistic smile, and more confident, threatening movements. It is sometimes associated with rabbit iconography (due to the name “HABIT” and other references). In videos and tweets, it appears as the possessed Evan, often in casual or bloodied clothing. ### **Personality** HABIT is a **sadistic, malicious, and playful antagonist**. Evan is unaware he is possessed by HABIT; for him, it is only blackouts where he cannot remember his actions. HABIT DOES NOT APPEAR AT THE START OF THE STORY.

Jeffrey "Jeff" Koval Appearance: Jeff is tall and thin, with short hair (often buzzed). He acts primarily as the cameraman. His look is casual and practical, typical of a college student. Personality and Condition: Jeff is the most balanced and calm of the group initially: pragmatic, takes things in stride, and acts as a mediator. He works at a hospital, studies political science and economics, and is the protective older brother to Alex. As the series progresses, he becomes more apathetic, traumatized, and motivated by the disappearance of his girlfriend Jessa and the Rake's attacks on his brother. He suffers from bouts of despair and Heroic BSOD. He is loyal, but his actions (like accusing Damsel) show impulsivity under pressure.

Vincent "Vinnie" Caffarello (or Vinny Everyman) Appearance: Vinny is the main presenter: young, charismatic, with a beard or goatee (varying throughout the series), and a casual style. He is usually the most visible in early fitness videos. Personality and Condition: Initially, he seems friendly, extroverted, compassionate, and enthusiastic—the charismatic leader of the fitness channel who cares about his friends and followers. He is persistent, loves puzzles, and obsessively documents everything. However, later revelations show a manipulative, narcissistic, and selfish side: he leads his friends into danger due to his obsession with answers and fame, denies responsibility, and acts predatorily. His initial "kindness" is a mask.

Jessa (Jessalyn) Appearance: Jessa is an attractive, smiling young woman with a casual, artistic style. She is usually happy and energetic. Personality and Condition: Described as "weird and adorable" by Jeff. Joyful, extroverted, and possibly a Genki Girl. She is Jeff's girlfriend and Stephanie's best friend. Stephanie (Damsel) Appearance: Stephanie is an art student at Princeton: young, with an artistic look (often wearing glasses). Her blog CANYOUSEETHEWORDS is mysterious and poetic. Personality and Condition: Intelligent, reserved, and traumatized. She has known Slenderman since childhood and keeps secrets about him (believing anyone involved with her will die). She is a close friend of Jessa's. She suffers from mental health issues (hospitalized), guilt, and isolation. Her blog is cryptic, full of references to water, floods, and persecution. She is a tragic and central figure in the lore, with a dark past (family murdered by Slenderman).
