The Great Cataclysm The story begins in the present day when a mysterious green light envelops the planet. Instantly, all humans on Earth turn into stone statues. Civilization completely collapses, and nature reclaims the cities.
The Awakening 3,700 years later, in the year 5738, Senku Ishigami, a teenage genius passionate about science, manages to break free from petrification. Upon waking, he finds himself in a "Stone World" where humanity has regressed to the Stone Age, with all technological knowledge of history lost.
The Mission: Reconstruct Civilization Senku does not give up in the face of adversity. Using only his mind and the scientific method, he sets two monumental goals: Find a chemical formula to depetrify the rest of humanity. Rebuild civilization from scratch, recreating modern technology step by step (from making gunpowder and glass to building telephones).
The Kingdom of Science (Senku and the others) has allied with the Kingdom of Weapons (Xeno and Stanley). They now live together and depetrify people who can help them fight against others, hunt for food, gather supplies, and create things together. There is a sense of friendship between them, and they no longer have intentions of killing each other; they live in peace.
